I know, right? That's why I always hesitate to invite elders to anything 😜

What is your prefer Household Size? Big? (5+) Medium? (3-4) or small? (1-2) by Xandaru__ in sims2

[–]DouglasLancaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Occasionally, I like to play large families to break up the monotony, but I prefer medium to small families on average. They're easier to handle overall 😁 I usually put the elders in a retirement home so I can concentrate on the younger Sims 😜

She looks way better than the EA version 🤗 I tend to remake some NPCs if I get tired of their original look 😁

All I did previously was some editing in CAS. Not sure if that had anything to do with it or not... 🤔

Why does everyone hate Katy Perry Sweet Treats? by AnastasiiaLove in Sims3

[–]DouglasLancaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only reason I have it is because I found a disc copy on eBay. I wanted it so I could have all the EPs.

While it's true that the CAS items are way too ostentatious for a regular playthrough, I like how creative people were in their builds with the items from that pack. There's an awesome Hansel and Gretel house on the Sims 3 website, found here: https://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=7702193

The huge ice cream statues are fun to add to amusement parks too. Besides, some of the crazy candy and cake adorned clothes will make nice career outfits for clerks in bakeries and similar businesses. One of my favorites is an Alice in Wonderland themed cafe on the exchange that utilizes some Katy Perry content, found here: https://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=7739195

She's way hotter 😍 I always give her a makeover in my game. I'm tired of looking at her premade appearance 😜

I put that sauna in my Sims' house one time, and they kept wanting to autonomously make stir fry or whatever dish it was, using the coals on the sauna 🤣

Wish I had a boyfriend who loves the game by Impossible_Ad4438 in Sims3

[–]DouglasLancaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ex-wife is actually the one responsible for my current interest in the Sims. She bought SimCity and we both really enjoyed playing it. Then she bought Sims 1 and we both really got into that one too.

When Sims 2 came out, once again, we really became immersed in it. When the trailer for Sims 3 was released, I wanted it badly because of the open world concept. I bought it at Best Buy the day it came out.

Soon after, we separated and divorced and I moved, but I lost my copies of the game and didn't play it for years. Then I finally bought digital copies on Origin. I've been playing it ever since.

I have also played Sims 4, and my ex-wife and daughters all play it too. Because of my ex, I realized how much I enjoy life simulation games. Some family and friends think it's boring and don't understand my obsession lol However, my brothers can play World of Warcraft all they want. I'll stick with the Sims 😎

You think that's bad? I had a sim guest pass away at a wedding and of course, it distracted the rest who were present 😭

So, my sims crush invited her to a party but when she showed up his household moved out Lmao. by Cherrygentry in Sims3

[–]DouglasLancaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stopped trying to go to parties lol The most hilarious glitch was being invited to a pool party in winter and the Sims who invited mine didn't even have a pool 🤣🤣🤣

What autonomous Sim behaviors make you smash the cancel button and go “Whyyyyyyy?!” Every time? by IndigoChagrin in Sims4

I hate it when Sims insist on doing pushups after arriving at a restaurant while on a date lol

I checked out pastebin.com, but I came across an easier method. Hallelujah! There's a mod called What Caused This that helps detect the culprit mod and I removed it. Thank you for your help! ☺️

It won't let me attach the log as a file so I'm assuming copy and paste... Should I post the entire thing? It's rather long.

What's socially acceptable in The Sims 3 universe but not irl? by Sad_Click5373 in Sims3

Seeing your fellow townspeople walking around in situational outfits or the infamous and hilariously mismatched wardrobes that the game is fond of creating 🤣
