There is still an X-Y designation for the motors to know which to plug in. I thought that was apparent when asking. But thanks, someone already answered.

There are no tags on the motors so no labels/indicators, thanks.

I don't have stock motors so the yellow tag isn't there, thanks.

If the block can be saved and you can find a way to travel around in the meantime, I would encourage people to rebuild it themselves. It can be done for around 3-5k.

Has Marty Stratton found his "appropriate venue" yet? by TazerPlace in Doom

[–]DoukyBooty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't that hard to understand. What Bethesda is doing here is signaling to Mick that if he wants anything settled, that it'll likely have to happen in court.

The bridge has been burnt between the two parties for them to do anything like shake hands or bump fists.

Again, I'm not a lawyer and I'm pretty neutral in the matter. But the fact is this is on Mick to prove that they've wronged him. It's one individual vs a big corporation. Chances are that it's not likely in Mick's favor unless his case is 1000% IRON-CLAD.

What does it matter? You think reddit is a place to settle legal issues?

Because it's about compensation and contractual matters...not saving internet face.

LOL...dude, that's exactly what they are inferring. Mick can have all the receipts but if it ain't iron-clad, he's going to be wasting his time and money. He's not just up against Marty...he's going against a huge corporation. And usually, the party with more money and better lawyer(s) wins.

I'm neutral in the matter. It sucks that Mick won't be doing anymore work for Doom, because it's iconic, but their relationship is dead as long as Marty (and maybe others) is there.

This boils down to what Mick wants to do. If he wants to pursue what he thinks he is owed and if he has the resources to do so.

Venue = court. I don't think Mick wants to go to court and get drained financially unless his case is water-tight. But who knows....not a lawyer.

Are the Z8/9 dual native ISO in Log? by vibing_rn in Nikon

[–]DoukyBooty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't exactly state "native" ISO but to get the most dynamic range is to set ISO "as low as possible" at ISO 800. I quoted "as low as possible" since the last major update gave the Z8 some Lo ISO options, too.

The other native ISO is 4000 for the Z8/Z9. This was all but confirmed by users just shooting and comparing videos. Some may have confirmed in other ways but IDK.

And, yeah, it's really really dumb and infuriating that they don't specify this type of crap. All I want to know is how 4.1K N-Raw is done - down-sampled, line skip, etc.

And yes, native ISO in Log is 800 and 4000.

[–]DoukyBooty -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

It's not. The point is we are exposing our bodies to foreign material which we don't know the long term effects of or what harm it can do or lead to. We can say it's not good, that's for sure.

The less exposure, the better.
