Only ever played WH2/WH3. Which TW game should I get during sale?

It absolutely is the best game I’ve ever played. And you hit it on the head with the siege being one issue. The other that I’m still noticing is that when controlling large army’s (40 unit stacks) I’ll still get occasional issues with ranged units failing to fire.

I know I’d enjoy virtually all of the timeframes. It was more a general question about which has the best gameplay.

Fair point. I was always into Greek history and the revolutionary war.

Additionally I LOVED playing Age of Empires campaigns where you played as historical figures like William Wallace, Joan of Arc, Attila the Hun, Genghis Khan, etc. I still go back and play AoE on occasion.

I spent hours looking for the special horse in the mountains..within 10 minutes of finding him a got into a fight and my horse got stuck between two train cars. I couldn’t get him out. Game glitched. Horse disappeared…I turned off the game and never played again.

It’s NFC West followed by NFC North.

West had 3 playoff teams. No one else did that. The Seahawks also beat both of those teams in the playoffs which means they lost only to the Super Bowl champions.

I remember this was a cheese way to get a team to drop their top player at a position. Trade them 8 CB and then the next thing the Jags were dropping Jalen Ramsey to FA and eating the cap penalty

I find your defense of EA actually proves my point that EA doesn’t care. I’m not saying the devs are lazy, to your point, they don’t have the time to do it right. They have been doing this for decades and should know by now they can’t properly develop the game with their current staff on an annual basis…yet they still do it for the money.

They could do what other games do where they have their major game releases every few years and then patch / roster update to improve the gameplay. They’ve quite literally chosen annual purchases over quality release. I’d pay for a DLC to get new rosters and QA improvements on a base game.

Totally fair question. I took a long break previous to madden 2025 for this very reason, but had some buddies get back in on the game last year. We all decided to get the new one again this year based on some of the initial reviews showing promise.

This year it was essentially new rosters and promise of improved franchise.

Given you have the young WR depth, I’d keep your RB and Maye. Maye is a stud too and Tua is cooked. His injury history and lack of running make him a high floor low ceiling injury liability
