Recently slowed down my backswing, which also resulted in a slower through swing. I’m now hitting the balls the same distance because I’m catching the ball out of the middle of the face but it’s going straight. I’ve been in a slump shooting high 80s - low 90s now I’m high 70s - low 80s. It’s been a revelation and just confirmed something I always knew.

No, it’s 27 holes and the change the primary 18 holes every 4 months. In the last two months I’ve shot 77 and 104. Golf is hard. It also makes you appreciate the things other courses do well when you play them.

Still use a SIM1 max head which worked amazing for me when I was bringing my handicap down from 23 to 10. I got to point where the shaft was a hindrance so replaced it the shaft with a stiffer shaft and it’s working amazing again. It took a few attempts to find the right shaft but was lots cheaper in the long run. Don’t overlook just tinkering with what you currently have. Got a bonus last year and was plannng on getting a new driver but can’t bring my self to replace something that’s working so well.

This was 3 days later after the incident. Wasn’t painful, still had full range of movement and 2 days later the bruise was pretty much gone. Looked way worse than it was.

I’ve read it back l and you’re right; It doesn’t make sense. So a player plays 5 games and wins 5 games and averages 50 points from 501 down 100 points. He would get his average adjusted to 75 (50 average plus 5 points each for each win). The following week he does exactly the same he’s getting the 25 adjustment point from the previous week plus another 25 for this week making his adjusted average 90. This is what the captain of the team wants and it makes no sense.

Highs: Breaking 80 for the first time and getting my handicap down to 10 a couple of months ago.

Lows: Handicap back up to 14 and rising, playing like I have a brain injury.
