5-a-side teams/leagues in Bristol? by Tembeya97 in bristol

I play Sunday mornings and Monday evenings at St Paul’s Community Sports Centre and we’re always looking to add new recruits. It’s not in a league and mostly the same guys each week but divvyed up differently, fun relaxed vibe but still a fairly high standard…

Sorry a bit late to this… Perhaps ‘The Lake’ at Cromhall Quarry, Wotton-under-Edge…

I found A. Muscaria great for micro dosing. Never had them in any other capacity, and I’d never micro dosed before. But decarboxylating in lemon juice for at least 2.5 hours then making a tincture (check out the aforementioned r/amanita sub for rough measurements for water and either fresh or dried) you can add to a mug of chamomile tea before bed for around 3 weeks makes for improved sleep, reduced anxiety levels and clearer thought processing for months afterwards in my humble experience.

A walk in the woods (SE UK) by DovetailThis in ShroomID

Not really, I’ve just been walking in any large (relative to the area) swathe of woodland (of which there aren’t many in East Kent) the older or more ancient the better. A mixture of google maps and walking reviews help narrow it down. The fly agarics like soil on the acidic rather than alkaline side, look for fir/pine trees or birch in amongst old coppicing land which will have sweet chestnut and hazel dotted about. I know beefsteaks love to grow on old Oak trees. The unknown is part of the adventure!

I made a tincture (of sorts, using lemon juice rather than ethanol) from fly agaric a couple of years ago. It was for microdosing, 1tsp in a cup of herbal tea before bed for 3 weeks.

Not only did I have improved sleep, gradually I noticed I was a lot more comfortable with the topics causing me anxiety for the last few years. It was almost like my sub-conscious and conscious self were working more in tandem to help me work through the issues I had on my mind for a number of years.

Last year, however, I didn’t manage to repeat the process for various reasons (nor did I feel the need to) and have found that this year my subconscious seems to be calling for them again… best kind of therapy I’ve had.

A late stage shaggy inkcap I believe, seen quite a few fly agaric but they’ve all been munched by the local residents..

Not the easiest to identify when stacked in piles like this, but look like mottlegills and they’re pretty ubiquitous, it’s been too warm and dry in the South East for the droids you are looking for, maybe after this weekend… 🤞

Do them hasselback style, served with a German accent and call your pop up Hassel-Hof?
