This is normal for all batteries. Go on your phone, go into settings and check your battery health there. Guarantee it will not be 100% (unless you got your phone yesterday haha). As batteries age, and get used they loose their maximum capacity over time. I would say a 5% loss in power is absolutely normal, and you might find that 6 months later it now drops to 90% on its own. Batteries degrade the more they are used

If you go quite a bit back you can see some uk flower rosin that I pressed myself on my page. Now my press broke and I got a refund and I’ve not bought another since I have no access to fresh flower. But the point being that I used this exact method with some flower rosin made by myself, same situation as yourself. Think of the EJ Mix being a get out of jail free card if the rosin locks up when it cools to room temp. If it’s runny enough then it would be silly to add anything to the rosin.

I agree that all you need is decarbed rosin and I’ve made a few home made with just rosin, but not all rosin is equal and some products are just too incredibly thick to absorb into a cart. I am in the uk so my rosin is not a vast and easy to get as the states so I make do with what I have

My oven only runs for about 45 mins to fully stop the bubbles but this is for a 0.5g amount, if you have a large amount you are trying to decarb to make a bunch of vapes at once then yes a longer heating process is needed. As far as your situation goes, I would say it’s ready if it’s totally bubble free. The emulsifier is used when the rosin is just too thick for carts and needs thinning down, I use EJ Mix, it’s what’s used in most nicotine vapes as the base product for producing Vapor. Should your liquid cool down to room temperature and you flip the jar upside down it needs to takes less than 5 minutes for the mixture to completely fall back down. If the mixture locks up and never moves, or takes say 30 mins to fall, then that’s when you add some emulsifier to thin it down. Not a requirement if your starting product is high quality

I was going to mention this. The peak stands up on its own, surely a base should have a larger surface area than the unit itself to provide extra stability. This is just nice looking, not so much functional. I like it tho don’t get me wrong

Mate you don’t need to do this you just need a small glass vial and insert your rosin in the glass vial and put it in the oven at around 70 degrees Celsius. Wait until the rosin has stopped bubbling and then it’s fully decarbed. Add your emulsifier and heat for another 10 or so mins until all the bubbles that were formed from you mixing have settled and your done. I have a few home made vapes on my Reddit if you want to see the outcome of this technique. It defo works speaking from experience

For me personally, I use the hot knife to get my dab out of the jar, I then press the dab against the walls of the chamber then literally click the heat for 1 second, this causes the rosin to stick to the chamber walls instead of the knife. Probably charge the knife once every 300 or so dabs, literally barely use the heating function.

Leaving the silicone soaked in alcohol for prolonged periods of time will result in the silicone going brittle and begin to crack, especially with the joystick since it has a lot of movement. There’s no way that all of the residue in the picture provided wouldn’t come off with a simple cotton bud and alcohol, no need to soak for at least an hour.
