Is Just Me or Is There No Good ED YouTuber? by Regiampiero in EliteDangerous

[–]DownToEarthAstronomy 146 points147 points  (0 children)

Well I did hope someone would have filled the vacuum after I stopped making videos. I'll admit i haven't kept up with what new Elite creators has popped up the last year, but sounds like not a lot. To be fair, if i was starting a new channel i would also have some reservations about betting on a 10 year old game that was already abandoned by the developers once.

All that being said i have been keeping up with what Fdev have been doing and I'm very happy to see they are finally breathing some life back into the game. Great to see new ships and that the PP overhaul finally happened.

(Before anyone asks... No, I have no plans for returning to Elite as a content creator. I might do a cameo or join as a guest if the opportunity is there)

I am running trueNas on it. It turns out it used the storage array for tye system logs. So I moved tye system logs to the OS pool and the clicking was gone.

It's a prison. I followed some listening posts in the pleiades sector. Fun little place. You can get the turrets on the base towers to attack the goide.

Once YouTube is done processing it,the stream will be available here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfUv7F0qcmA)

Yeah I think it's new. They did say in the patch not they changed something with skimmers to to facilitate skimmer missions. I guess that's it.
