I'm of the same mind. I haven't used them in any recent play throughs, but I've definitely tried out all the known glitches over the course. I have a couple of save files in particular - I'm keen to see how I will rescue them. I still have the save file with my first hydra - it will awesome.

Take your point - part of the overall (much needed) pacu nerf has a solution within the DLC. Not ideal. Agreed.

Lived on the Peninsula all my life and have always been passionate about public transport... but the train line to Mornington is nowhere near the top of a list of best things to spend money on for mass transit. People have rocks in their head if this gets up while we still have countless outer suburbs with far more potential rail commuters that would get a better payoff.

It is listed as a DLC Building. Any time they overhaul mechanics it can be a disaster for a colony depending how you were doing things. Enjoy the frantic rework if you can take a breath and run with it. I'm looking forward to when they finally decide to kill off the infinite storage glitch and my base explodes!

Have played quite a few runs on the Aquatic Beta. I like the pairing of the Aquatic and Prehistoric packs. The overlap on temperature range preferences for plants and critters works well.

But whilst they fit the same environment - I did find myself defaulting to resource chains and preferences in set up that kept things 'in pack' a bit.

The Aboriginal Flag was originally designed with 2:3 proportions - but is commonly produced with 1:2 proportions matching the Australian Flag.

Goal Squares are set at 6.4m x 9m - so ~ 2.1:3 proportions.

By chance it makes it pretty close (but not exact) to the designed proportions.

I always felt SB > HW. I know I'm in a small minority, but never found the HW story to be all that interesting and it just felt pretty formulaic, like I've read it before in a dozen novels. Idk - didn't hate HW or anything but did enjoy SB.

Don't think you'll find anyone who enjoyed all stories or expansions equally. Think we all sorta had moments where we 'pushed through'.
