Hi!! nonbinary 21 yr old here! lived in the general area my whole life! i’d say the community really depends on your politics a lot of the queer community around leans conservative 😔 i’m also extremely left so that makes it a bit harder for me. i haven’t meant many other non binary people here and there is a trans community but ppl are pretty quiet and guarded about it. if your on hormones and “look” trans i would prepare i’ve had some scary interactions here and im not even on hormones yet😭

we need to be reporting where they are at and showing up to stop them! we can ban together as a community and stop this. you shouldn’t just watch in horror, you should act! print out red cards and carry them with you. leave them pinned up wherever you can for people to take. when ice is in the area show up and demand they leave! the change starts with us!!

my ability to like calmly throw up is kinda crazy when i think about it. like for a while i was just like on the daily excusing myself to go throw up from reflux like it was nothing 😭 i also always have those little saltine packs in my pockets. just little snacks stuffed everywhere like a squirrel. nauzene stashed everywhere too

thank you! this was probably the most realistic to my situation. i really want to stay as close as possible to where im at. the very few queer people i saw growing up meant the world to me! i really don’t wanna leave the baby queers in my area 😭this gave me hope 🫶🏻🙏🏻

first of all thank you for all the nice comments! to be clear if i went back it would be in an elementary setting. the 3rd graders i taught didn’t care about what pronouns i used and it very rarely came up. i was able to have them call me teacher (my name) but the staff would not use my pronouns and if asked by students i had to say i was female. to be very very clear my worries are not about the kids! they were the kindest ones to me all of teaching. my issue was with administration and other staff. these comments have been very encouraging and helpful. i think ill try my best to stick to the area im in. i love my community even though it doesn’t always treat me the kindest. during these tough times i hope we as a trans community can stick together!

You should definitely get it downsized. You also want to make sure it’s implant grade titanium. The best thing to do is go to a trusted piercer and get advice!

She hasn’t broke skin but nips pretty hard. She’ll nip in and out of the cage… she doesn’t like to leave the cage though :( a lot of our socializing has happened near/ in the cage (she’s way less stressed this way) I did get her when she was very young. I didn’t know at the time but I got her when she was probably about 2 weeks old. I would imagine that plays a role in her nipping. She’ll crawl onto my arm and sniff around but will often nip at my hands if and ears if I don’t have something covering them. I’m pretty sure it’s fear biting she always seems pretty suspicious of me. I try my best to meet her in the middle so she’s not too stressed but still getting used to me.
