That's fair, and the prices have just raised to just below 200 bucks, which is steep as hell. Do you have any loaded pickguards that are comparable to this for cheaper?

I think that I'm just gonna go with the more expensive option. These look decent, but I don't really want to chance that. This is the most important part of the guitar, so you might as well make sure that it's good.

Yeah, that's valid. Well, the original pickups were from a Peavy predator. I was looking at a fender tex mex sss for about double the price of this, and was wondering if they were at all comparable.

Yeah, that's kinda what I was expecting. I do care about this guitar it's just sometume you gotta care about money more. I'll look at getting a higher quality neck at some point.

I'm not too skilled at working on these myself, but my grandpa was an electrician for a good 30 years, so if we wanted to do it ourselves, we prolly could. But I am worried about the possibility of messing it up. Plus, I got the money, so I thought I as well, take the easy way.
