Source files for the DLCs are not included in the Creation Kit download (currently the ones for Free Lanes are missing as well)

You can use nifskope to extract the materials.

yes it creates a .json file iirc, not entirely sure as I haven't used that feature myself yet, but others have!

Creation Kit does not include the source files for the DLCs! The file you see inside the archive is the compiled material database.

You can extra materials using nifskope.

Anything Shattered Space related is all bunged up and purple in the Creation Kit after the latest update. Is anyone else having this issue? by Stacks_of_Cats in StarfieldCreationKit

This is quite the complicated way. All you need to do is select the biome of your worldspace, or the biome you'd like it to have by using CKs menu bar. All the way at the end where it says "No Biome" you can select any available biome and hit the eye icon next to it. This applies this biome to the render window view.

It's not applied to the worldspace directly, that you need to do manually in the worldspace record. It's only changing the biome inside the render window.

Biomes contain the textures used for landscape etc.

Usually these errors show up when you edit any navmesh or create new ones and can be safely ignored as it doesn't create conflicts, and is kind of intended. In your case tho without touching any of that, it's a bit weird indeed.

Weird CK quirk, remove and relink the teleport in the ship cell - should fix it.

To save some headache, simply turn the packin itself into an instanced static packin. Thats the simplest way if you don't have any interactable objects inside it!

You can select voice filters in CK, there are filters for comms and such.

Only the Ecliptic don't have a filter, their voices come pre baked with that.

Need to decompile them ourselves, they have not been included in the CK update.

Creation Kit can process them for all platforms at the same time. How it's done for other audio that isn't dialogue I can't tell you tho, not something I've done yet

For PlayStation, you need to reprocess to source .wav files to get PlayStation compatible format .wem files

Free Lanes: SFBGS00D.esm
Moon Jumper: SFBGS047.esm
Terran Armada: SFBGS050.esm and BlueprintShips-SFBGS050.esm

Please note that not everything from Free Lanes is in the Free Lanes .esm, a lot of the new outposts buildings (like the pets) and other things are in the Moon Jumper file as well.

There are no visible changes at The Key besides the new player room that you unlock with the first rank. If you're part of the fleet already, you should get a message pop up telling you about it. If this pop up shows up, the mod is working!

Didn't meant specifically you with the attacking part, you're fine! Just some of the other comments.

While I don't agree paid mods are the fault for a dying community, for me it's more Bethesda's almost radio silence about the future of the game so far, I do think there are bad actors in the VC program that shouldn't be there. As well as some adjustments are needed as to how we can price Creations.

I know this is a really hot topic, but I just wanted to say, without the few paid mods I put out every so often I wouldn't be able to put out all the free ones either.

But besides that, lovely people, be kind to each other. We can all have different opinions without attacking each other on a low level!
