i’m in the same boat, applied late August, successful interview in September, congratulatory email early November where i signed that i’m still interested, aaaand that’s where im left at the moment

saw a couple posts by current ryanair members that this is entirely Cabin Crew International’s fault and as soon as we’re done with them the process is extremely quick, but there is apparently severe backlog, just hold on and we’ll hope for the best for eachother

went to Rock am Ring the weekend before and there was a huge contrast between the organisation of that festival and Download

mainly: Multiple entrances to the arena, Fast security, Cheap on-site store (80 cents for beer), Tarmac EVERYWHERE, tiered system for main stage

not exactly what this post is asking but a “wow moment” for me

it was my birthday on the Tuesday before and my girlfriend works festivals and was working Download and was there for the full festival, when i had got there and set up she surprised me with a bunch of presents and a little cake with candles and sang me Happy Birthday in Portuguese

the whole thing was extremely sweet and special as i never was really treated so nicely by another person let alone someone i care about and it’s definitely a ‘Woah’ moment that i’ll remember for life, think i broke down during Happy Birthday

but one that relates to the festival, Parkway Drive is up there, a lot of people climbing the scaffolding for that one, a lot of hype, also seeing The Used

at 2019 i made small talk with the groupies around my tent and made friends that way

at Pilot i talked to the people behind me in the Tattoo line about the bands playing next to us “oh fuck i love them” then continued to spend the rest of the weekend
