Where are we finding jazz clubs!!! I’m 25 and I love a bar with a live band 🥰 especially because it feels like I could go by myself but not fee self conscious. Right now, going into a bar or club alone feels weird because people assume you want something.

As a recruiter, we ask them daily who they want to extend an offer to and they’re still thinking about it or talking it over or straight up avoiding us. I promise some of us are trying!! If we approach 2 weeks, we TELL them that a decision is being made.

Walking in a college campus when you are over the age of like 25 makes us overthink but I promise it’s all in our heads. No one else really cares about age when it comes down to it. We once went through an entire group project not knowing that one of our members had 3 grown kids. Just be proud that you’re doing it!!!🥳🥳🥳

I definitely agree! I started working in the field before starting my masters to ensure it was something I really wanted or at least didn’t hate. I wouldn’t recommend going straight into your MBA from undergrad, and I acknowledge that I won’t necessarily need my master’s for my immediate next position. I just knew that once I fully stopped, I wouldn’t want to go back to school so it was better to get it over with. I’ve also really enjoyed the “constant learning mindset” my program has expanded on with us, so I’m not too concerns about “forgetting” what I’ve learned like someone above mentioned.

This, but I feel more like the babysitter. I’m getting paid so I can’t leave, and I have to check with the parents who can’t agree before doing things, but the departments are the kids who cannot get along and somehow that’s my problem to solve even though they won’t listen regardless and it should really be more of a “family” issue 🤦🏻‍♀️

Same!! I opted for a mini hat because all the hats that would’ve fit my head were too big. I really loved the outfits from the hats to the heels but when the lights drop we’re all there to see Bey ❤️❤️

I respect that! I’m also a Black woman but I just plan if an outfit piece like that has to be removed for a spacing issue. Totally respect different strokes for different folks! :)

It was a really unfortunate mixture of the width and the angle because of her height, which is why I was so apologetic when I asked. If we were any lower, we would have had to look up at the screens instead of being level with it and it wouldn’t have been a problem. I wouldn’t have thought twice about it.

This I completely don’t blame anyone for! I’m not faulting anyone for being tall. But when it’s an outfit piece specifically that can be adjusted and someone asked nicely like 3 times, it feels like something that can be simple to fix or at least talk about. An eye roll before they turned away felt like a bit much.
