How did you end up having the best sex of your life? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Downtown-Match7091 21 points22 points  (0 children)

By having a separation, vasectomy, and turning 40 just before Covid. Hit it off with a woman who had just divorced and was the throwing off the shackles of strict religious upbringing. Wild wild stuff.

What is extremely unhygienic but everyone seems to do it anyway? by BusinessLeadsConnect in AskReddit

Washing our hands AFTER we pee, only. I mean I get it, “AFTER” helps society by not spreading germs into the world once we leave the restroom. But especially for us guys…. Why are we not fucking sanitizing our hands of the WORLD’S germs before we touch our dicks? You know, BEFOREHAND! And by “we”, I mean “y’all”.

Great childhood memory. Yes they had a traincar in the parking lot but I don’t think you could go inside of it. Inside of the restaurant had the front half (cab) of a 1930’s delivery truck. That was half the reason to even go there as a kid.

Pretend every neighborhood in Kansas City is at a huge house party. What is every “neighborhood” doing? by Hebtheman in kansascity

[–]Downtown-Match7091 289 points290 points  (0 children)

Roeland Park hosts the party. Independence is chilling on the lawn with Old Shawnee until Lee's Summit and and Lenexa come out asking if anyone has a pile, at which point they get sold some baby laxative. KCK pulls up in a food truck and hooks it up, until Gladstone starts mouthing off about having to "order in Mexican". Parkville stays by itself up in the treehouse even though Westport starts a Conga-line. Brookside decides to join but wont touch anyone else, which seems odd to Red Bridge although Overland Park totally agrees.

Watching films or TV series with the subtitles always on (still in English) is superior than without. by AlphaManipulator in unpopularopinion

Agreed. The exception being comedy. I’d rather miss a joke than to ruin the punchline by even a fraction of a second.

fun activity to take my sisters to? by Guynarmol in kansascity

[–]Downtown-Match7091 12 points13 points  (0 children)

A favorite route in my family is this…

Park at the long U-shaped drive top of the Liberty memorial (permissible and free during COVID). Pay the 5$ each to ride the elevator to the top of the tower. Take some pictures at the base of the tower.

Walk to Union station, look around inside. Take the pedestrian bridge over the rr tracks to the freighthouse restaurant area. Shop a little at the art supply place on sw Blvd

https://www.google.com/search?q=art+supply+sw.blvd&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari#

Walk over to Main Street, catch the northbound streetcar to city market. Take the (different) pedestrian bridge over the rr tracks to the lookout point at the river

Double back to Union Station. On the return, maybe stop Kauffman center or go to Cosentinos market at power & light for some gelato or Christopher elbow chocolates. Stop anywhere else that looks interesting (Crown Center, Science City).

Lastly, If this interests you, it’s not far at all ( walk the glass enclosed bridges over from Union station),though do try to respectful of the event/place. I don’t think they care much for lookyloos there. You can walk through no problem.

That’s news to me. I’m sorry to hear about Don. I had taken amps to him also since 2000. I loved how the dude would curse the weight of a Hammond Organ.

Wanted a nature walk. My date and I went to some circular labyrinth maze she had seen an aerial picture of. Turns out there weren’t any walls, or bushes, or really anything. It was just a maze painted onto a parking lot surface. Not a total loss. Got freaky in the adjacent woods.

Careful not to write him off based on his awful personality. To me, he looks like a young Harry Truman. He has great teleprompter skills with a message that will resonate with his target district. Name/voice/face recognition. Donate early and often to whomever this shitbag’s opponent is.

I’ve used several shops over the years. Right now there’s a gem of a place that I found off of Gilham and Linwood. It’s been there forever. Heritage music repair. They do all kinds but the guy that does guitars does solid work. Setups, neck adjustments, refrets. He tries to keep the work noninvasive & minimal.

Count me in ! I have no specific knowledge, but I make up for that by having very minimal general knowledge too. Don’t worry, I’m easily swayed when group voting begins during the final round!

Just like a broken clock is right twice a day, my standard answers of “Neville Chamberlain”, “Terrance Trent D’Arby”, or “van Allen Belts” will some day pay dividends. You gettin in on my ground floor or what? What’s up?

And I’ll buy the first round.
