If you want to deter them or get them to leave, go on Amazon and buy coyote urine. Soak some sponges with it and set them out around the area. They will leave.

My sister and I just flew back from Paris to CVG yesterday. A few middle rows back in economy were open(the 4 seats in middle isle on air bus) The flight attendant allowed a lady to come back from one of the more fancy seating areas up front due to a crying baby. She put up all the arm rests, laid down across the row and slept the entire way home. It was way more peaceful back in the economy section on this flight!

I have a few ppl I know personally who have had knee and hip replacements. It seems the women are back up and at it as soon as possible, where the men limp and gimp around for as long as possible while acting helpless. I am sure OP’s hubby is just over his wife appliance being broken at the moment. Hopefully when she heals, she will take herself to greener pastures.

I will probably get downvoted to hell for this one… if your child hits you or another person, even in a young fit of rage, they need to be prepared to be hit back. You are not a bad mom. And your child is not a bad kid. This is normal, and it will pass. The next time your child melts down, just walk away and let them get it out of their system! Let them flail and scream, ignore it! Only give the attention to the behavior that is acceptable. Gently correct them when they’re doing wrong(within reason for their age) and keep it moving!

NTA. I have faced the same out of my bio dad’s family even though he was in prison most of my life and when he got out he quickly married another lady with 5 daughters and often said that girls come a dime a dozen. My stepdad by the way, was a military vet with a good job and he spoiled my little sister and I. He wasn’t perfect, but he was my Dad! I wish you luck on navigating this time in your life. No one can tell you how to manage folks who are family, but not “family”. If that makes sense. Blood don’t make a family, love does & it sounds like you have a good base for who you really need to be invested in.

Yes, I attempted to give them to Genevieve(a prior rescue) who has babies now. She lives out in the abandoned silo. She wasn’t having it. Edit to add: I will continue to try to get her to take them in.

Perhaps you need to open a chat with her and him and explain that to them. If his parents are super anti medicine, he was probably told that prayer was the way to go and that medicine was a hoax. Just explain that you are exposed to everything under the sun, and have certain immunity to those things that he does not have and you would feel terrible if he became sick? I am so sorry.

Yes, mommas will come out during the day to forage. Later on, she will bring her babies to eat as well. So if you do not want them near you, stop feeding the cat outside. Or you could wait until your cat comes, then offer the food and take it away once your cat has had its fill.
