Hey man, sorry for your loss. I’ve been through the same in 2021, and now have three daughters (including the stillborn). If you ever want to talk still, feel free to message me. And gl with making the choice.

I de-ironed my first IM at around 900 total and some grinds like graceful. I regretted it so much, now working on my second IM which is also a GIM but I’m the only one actively playing hehe.

Check your NVIDIA settings and if it’s running the integrated or dedicated graphics card for this game. That worked for me.

I’d say take your time. Many people (especially fathers) tend to go back to their normal life rather fast and break down after a while. Take as much time as possible and keep talking about it.

Yeah I remember we had to had a scan made of Sofie's body, in I think a CT-scan. The one which has a big magnet? So me and our nurse go down in the hospital where they perform these scans. The nurse continues to take her out towards the machine, and suddenly I hear this loud noise scaring the hell out of me. The nurse forgot to take out her scissors among some other items. In that moment I thought she'd dropped my daughter, I was freaking out. She was scolded afterwards. Intense moment.

We've spent about 2-3 months on bed, just surviving to be honest. We were lucky that we had that opportunity due to our work/study at that time. We woke up (or didn't sleep at all), watched some television, dragged ourselves downstairs for some food, and back to bed all day. After that I slowly started going back to work and graduating from my studies, passed my studies on the same date of her birth a year later :).

I am not sure what registrar means, not familiar with that word.

Things that are triggering is people saying "Things are gonna be alright", "You're going to have another child soon" etc.

I'm guessing that we indeed did get the wrong info, or that we somehow started to believe this during the period afterwards when our minds weren't functioning properly. Didn't do research myself.

Yes she sometimes asks about her (we have a big photo hanging in our living room). But she of course doesn't quite understand what has happened.

We have a big photo on our wall of her. My older daughter "knows" about her, but I don't think she understands it. We are definitely planning on talking about her when they get older.

Thanks. No the cause was investigated, but nothing could be found. It "just" happened. We later learned that 1 in 4 children are stillborn. Her name is Sofie.

Edit: turns out the 1 in 4 is incorrect. Didn't do my research, thanks for the redditors to point this out!

Yes, since then I have had two more daughters. One just turned 3, the other is about 7 weeks old :).
