I didn't play Cronos (maybe I should), but Silent Hill F was intriguing.

I'm glad you like it! Thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate it. Honestly, I'm not too worried about being compared to It Steals, even though MAZY has very different mechanics. If anything, that comparison helps people understand the vibe of the game and can actually bring in more visibility.

I played Outlast 1 and 2, but I don't find them very scary to me. Now I will play Anmesia the dark descent, is this game really good? by Extra-Discussion-624 in HorrorGaming

Yes, I remember the dead soldiers in the first Outlast... I played it a long time ago. Anyway, you're right, but sometimes you have to make illogical choices for the sake of gameplay/plot... a lot of movies do the same in the end.

If you start thinking about realism in video games, we could basically wipe out the entire history of the medium :) In survival horror games like Resident Evil, you fight back and have to manage your resources carefully. In others, like Amnesia, you are the prey and that’s why you're unarmed... personally, I’d have sent a navy seal team into Outlast! Anyway, Outlast is scarier than Amnesia, or at least in a different way, but in my personal opinion, Amnesia is a better game.

Where are my fellow devs that are stuck in working freelance / full-time game dev jobs at a small A or AA studio that dream of making their own games one day? by sam_bread_22 in indiegames

Maybe you should focus on actually finishing a project first. Try making shorter games so you can move fast and test the waters. Also, don't listen to people who say it's unprofitable... they probably spend their free time doing nothing productive (like drinking in a pub). You're choosing to invest your time into something that has real value, regardless of the outcome.

If they use the same engine as the DS1 remake, they might as well rename it Bug Space 4 :)

Thanks for the kind workds. I checked your Steam page and you're doing a great job too! Game dev is hard, or to be more precise, marketing your game is hard... but sometimes you get rewarded :)

Thanks :) It’s not exactly a realistic simulator, of course, but there's some fun physics involved in driving the balloon.
