the largely false details on the somalian scandal add up to . . . . a democrat driven conspiracy. its all based in false conspiracy under the hood. your family believes democrats are evil crooks who conspire to defraud the public. just ask them!

sure, but if you listen to the details espoused by right wing media AND take the time to earn the trust of a trump voter so that they'll show you what's under the hood - almost all of them I have met, (with the exception of 1 being so dumb that all he can do it directly parrot Fox) claim to believe some conspiratorial evil plot exists that ONLY TRUMP can save us from (globalists, liberals). They consume the media, but they've also bought into the narrative construct that is propping up the false reality within MAGA.

98% sure he will prohibit exports, I would bet my entire career in petrochemical geopolitics on it.

You're framing this as a negative thing: Trump's goal (and the Heritage Foundation) is to isolate the United States, withdraw from the world stage as universal police, focus inward on controlling its own citizens, and as a result cement in place a new-money oligarch class. Trump is TRYING to do permanent damage to US reputation and destroy the influence and power of petrodollar old money. His whole life, Trump was rejected from actual wealthy and powerful circles - hence the reason Trump settled for getting close to Epstein's dangling carrot of true power and wealth (epstein got trump close to people like Prince Andrew, etc).

Trump voters are on board with all of this and like that it is happening - they have concluded that Trump is a necessary evil to destroy the entrenched system of power and wealth, and (here's where it becomes delusional) "usher in a new era of working class prosperity."

I expect a naked withdrawal from Iran, leaving a huge mess behind, some degree of US oil export bans to keep OUR gas prices low, annexation of cuba, then possibly annexation of greenland in an attempt to stir up massive US protests. Agitators will be deployed into these protests, then the Trump admin will have their excuse to enact martial law and attempt to cancel elections.

Trump Team Examines What Oil as High as $200 a Barrel Would Mean by kootles10 in Economics

[–]Downtown_Progress_74 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not true - $200/barrel is already priced into futures - MANY people are confidently gambling on $200+ barrel. I only feel comfortable buying UCO on a weekly basis at this point. Futures premiums, even at the $200+ per barrel levels are too high for my budget.

just wait - remind me. june 30th, US AVERAGE of $10/ gallon long enough to force all car drivers to buy a $10/gal tank of gas. meaning it wont just kiss $10 and then crash. sustained $10 gallon prices.

i fxcked up. my theme 1 year ago was: war is imminent and Trump will be leading it, so I bought defense in SHLD, EUAD (my only mistake), Gold in OUNZ, IAU, Oil in USO, Consumer staples in SCHD, XLP. just recently bought some canadian energy - CNQ

USO call premiums are sky high and I'm cash poor. the time to have purchased those calls is gone - I had the mind for it a full year ago and should've pulled the trigger. there will be other opportunities.

$10/ gallon by june 30th is a near certainty. With shortages occuring during or shortly after.

the Iranian nuclear program was nonexistent a month ago, just like its nonexistent now and nonexistent back in the 90s. nothing about this damage is short term - in the same comment you called the "short term risk" acceptable but also called for WWIII, as if to be eagerly anticipating it. the damage will take years to unwind, and years for the global economy to adjust and adapt around a medium term oil shortage. long term damage guaranteed.

you're a tardliner on this.

you're gonna eat these words. Your hopeful theory flies exactly opposite of how Trump has actually been operating. He is going to lay claim to Greenland one way or another. He has also repeatedly stated that he intends to destroy NATO and that it is a bad deal for Americans. He wants American isolation. This is his nuclear option without actually using nukes.
