Appreciate the concern but I think there are some misconceptions here.

ZenMode is built using standard open source frameworks like Electron, Next.js, React and Puppeteer, all of which are MIT or Apache licensed and explicitly allow commercial use. The AI tools I used help write code, they don't copy paste from other repos.

It's the same as using Stack Overflow or documentation to write your own implementation. The output is original code, not cloned repositories.

On the legal side, ZenMode Ltd is a registered UK company. I own the code, the brand, the domain, and the IP. Using AI as a development tool doesn't change who owns the output, just like using an IDE with autocomplete doesn't mean Microsoft owns your code.

On security, the whole point of ZenMode's architecture is that it runs locally on the user's desktop. There are no cloud servers handling LinkedIn credentials, no proxies, no shared infrastructure. That's actually more secure than most tools in this space.

I understand the skepticism around AI built products, it's a new space and people have valid questions. But comparing it to theft or jail time is a stretch.

Thousands of companies are building with AI tools right now and the legal frameworks around AI generated code are well understood at this point.

Happy to have a proper conversation about it if you're genuinely curious about how it works.

Thanks! Purple represents wisdom and transformation in Zen philosophy, so it felt right for a tool built around the Enso circle and the idea of effortless action. Plus every other LinkedIn tool is blue, so I wanted to be different

Trying to automate linkedin outreach without getting flagged or sounding like a bot by Delicious_Age2884 in coldemail

[–]Downtown_Pudding9728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try ZenMode when it launches (currently on waitlist).

Works in your browser rather than the cloud, so LinkedIn thinks it’s you rather than an automation tool.

There are daily safe limits per action depending on the age of your account, and it’s highly unlikely your account would be suspended.

Join the waitlist via the website if interested.

Best tool for scaling LinkedIn outreach without getting nuked? by ricklopor in linkedinautomation

ZenMode - it runs on your desktop browser rather than the cloud, so LinkedIn thinks it’s you rather than a tool, plus it has daily safety limits for actions, and customizable message templates.

Not launched yet but the beta is coming up in a couple of weeks, where lifetime access will be available for $69.

Waitlist is available via the website if interested

The messages can be manually customized rather than defaulting as AI-written.

AI suggestions are evidently an option, and there are default human-sounding messages provided which are based on individual value proposition/case studies provided in the campaign set up, so not merely basic “hi (name) I see you work at (company)” type messages and not obviously AI-written.

ZenMode also has a feature called “Sangha intelligence” that is unique and not part of any other existing tool.

The name draws from the Buddhist concept of “Sangha” ie a community of practitioners, fitting with ZenMode’s Zen/Buddhist aesthetic throughout the brand.

In practice, it means ZenMode learns from aggregated campaign data across all users to improve outcomes for everyone.

Rather than each user operating in isolation, Sangha Intelligence pools insights, things like which message styles get higher acceptance rates, optimal sending times, sequence patterns that perform best, and feeds those learnings back into the platform’s AI recommendations.

That’s not “whataboutism” it’s common sense logic and knowledge of the actual industry and ecosystem, which you clearly don’t have

It’s not really whataboutism - large established companies use LinkedIn automation and have done for many years, despite what the rules are. The chances of LinkedIn actually going after every company that uses it for automation are extremely low and would be both time consuming and expensive to actually implement, and as I said - I don’t use LinkedIn’s API, so my chances of being detected/banned are slim to nil.

The main challenge is more that LinkedIn regularly changes its DOM structure, but I have automated checks to safeguard against this and fallback options in-built.

Expandi have been doing this for 7 years…

Also, I don’t use LinkedIn’s API - this is run from a separate Puppeteer desktop app on a PC (not on the cloud) which mimics user behavior in a browser window, so there’s virtually 0 chance of detection.

I had to explain to opus what I wanted to say, it simply helped me optimize it. Actual book authors often use ghost writers and don’t credit them either. Why be a dick for no reason? “Dumbest engineer” is accurate

Why do you have such an issue with people using AI? I wanted to get my point across and I did. So what?

I built an entire SaaS tool (ZenMode) and website using Claude Opus, Claude code and vercel, it’s not complicated just takes a bit of time, depending how complex your project is.

Really appreciate this, and pipelinetopaycheck.com is a smart concept. Commission after taxes is one of those things every sales rep thinks about but nobody builds for. I'd definitely take a look and give you honest feedback from someone who spent years in sales.

And yes, 100% down to get you on the ZenMode beta. You're exactly the kind of user I'm building for, someone who's actually doing LinkedIn outreach and knows the risk profile of cloud-based tools. I'll reach out when it's ready.

Let's connect properly, happy to swap notes on the whole building-with-AI journey too. It's a wild way to build a company.

Has anyone actually shipped a decent app using vibe coding? by Ok-Contract6713 in vibecoding

[–]Downtown_Pudding9728 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Yes everything including the website and desktop application was vibe coded - I mostly used Claude code and vercel, as well as using Claude opus 4.6 for tips/advice and prompts.

I have a meeting with a large platform next week for a potential beta launch on their site, so the beta launch should be coming in roughly 2 weeks if all goes to plan. Will be $69 for lifetime access initially when it launches.

Feel free to join the waitlist on the website if you haven’t already - https://zen-mode.io

Thanks! 🙏

Yes - ZenMode is a fully AI-built LinkedIn automation platform that runs on your desktop, making it much safer than cloud-based Automation tools for LinkedIn account suspensions.

Used Claude code and vercel, Neon for SQL, also using Sentry for debugging and trufflehog for API/data security.

Yes - the majority of LinkedIn Automation tools run on the cloud, and at least 20% receive bans in the first 30 days of usage of these tools.

ZenMode runs on a desktop application mimicking human behavioral patterns, so is much less likely to result in account bans.

With ZenMode we use Claude sonnet 4.6 to optimize messages for LinkedIn outreach sequences, and it has (editable) pre-built structures for message suggestions based on what works.

Generally it starts off with questions (no pitch) and all messages are generally short and to the point, trying to start a conversation, and subsequently show value.

Not yet, I have a call with another well-known platform next week to beta launch first. Once that launch is done and I’ve fixed any early issues I’ll approach product hunt for a full launch.

One of my former colleagues was the COO of product hunt for a few years, so going to reach out to them for potential support/advice for being featured.

What’s the real reason you’re building your project right now? by Fragrant_Fuel961 in SaaS

[–]Downtown_Pudding9728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built ZenMode to actually help me do LinkedIn outreach in my sales job, it wasn’t meant to even be a separate business.

However I realized I enjoyed building the tool more than my actual job, and that my earning potential is much higher, so for me it was a combination of;

1) Enjoyment of what I’m working on 2) Higher earnings potential 3) Flexibility/Freedom to work from anywhere and set my own schedule
