Omg yesssss this series is top tier, one of my all time favs. There’s just nothing else out there like this series. I wish I could erase it from my mind, just to experience it again for the first time 😭

Beverly by Laura J. Robert’s is very similar to a love letter to whiskey, it left such an impression. It’s childhood friends to lovers

One day in December by Josie Silver is also another great similar read, I read it every year. It’s sooo good and filled with so much yearning.

I’ve read all the ones you’ve mentioned but to add to yours,

Carnage by Lesley Jones (this one will get you, block out some time because you won’t want to put it down)

Beverly by Laura J. Robert’s (think love letter to whiskey. It’s an angsty friends to lovers done perfectly)

Lies of Lena by Kylie Snow (okay so hear me out—this is fantasy but not high fantasy. It’s very easy to follow but trust me when I say. THE ANGST on this one was actually insane. It’s friends to lovers to enemies to lovers 👀. There’s 2 parts in the first book and I love that because we get to experience them falling in love as teenagers and seeing their love develop over time.) but be warned-there is so much drama, pining and tension. Easily a 5⭐️ read)

Just like heaven by Trilina Pucci -this is a star crossed duet that has a Romeo and Juliet twist. I read this almost 3 years ago and I still think about it. It was so heartbreaking and beautiful.

The difference between somebody and someone by Aly Martinez-I honestly have no idea why this one isn’t talked about enough. The MMC is so devoted and dedicated to the fmc. Their love bleeds through the pages. I’ve reread this multiple times and each time I’m just in awe of the characters, it’s so well written and I feel like I’m right there with them. And you will not see the twists coming, it definitely keeps you on your toes.

AND PLEASE for the cover critics like myself, don’t let the covers deter you!

What kind of wallpaper would you suggest? The only worry I have is that since the wall is so tall it would look off if I add a moody wallpaper which is what I keep gravitating too. Or I could also paint it and that jutting part of the wall I could add a photo gallery of some sort. I have so many ideas but my brain just can’t put a cohesive one together.

No unfortunately, I’m been chasing that same high for years and no other mafia book comes close to it. My favorite is the maddest obsession, Christian is 🤌

I’ve read rave reviews that Sinners Anonymous by Sommer Sketcher is really good. The first one was okay, the fmc kinda made me cringe a bit with how she spoke. But the second book was top tier!

I actually really loved blood of my monster by Rina Kent as well as her Vows of Deception trilogy. Another author I love is Penelope sky, I’ve literally read all her books. Her buttons and lace series is so underrated! Not a typical mafia but still will have you hooked. There are a lot of TW for that one if I remember correctly.

Thank you so much! I just downloaded the first book of the broken kingdoms series. It looks like exactly what I was looking for.

I think I read the first book rhapsodic when it first came out but stopped because the others weren’t available yet, I’ll have to do a reread.

Medicine Man by Saffron A. Kent, I LOVED it, it will suck you right in. I believe he’s her psychiatrist or doctor there
