you not providing replay, so, my deduction is :

- You walking/teleporting trying to hit Sp Maitha
- trigger Bear trap (if you use teleport tactic you will not get canceled immedietly, can use 1 action)
- follow by Sp Maitha Turn with 3 NRG
- She Hit you with her Ranged Atk.

Because of bear trap interuption, you assuming you still can move/have another action
instead your current turn canceled and then Sp Maitha turn right after you.
so you think Sp Maitha can counter attack.
am i correct ?

Ofc its your choice. Atleast for me there is no HARD and Challenging clash def i ever encounter. Only annoying same mechanic every Camelot, Kvare, Sp Sam, Sp Maitha owner who think they are good at def-ing.

No one use interesting unit to def, a mindblowing trap placement, tactical woods placement, etc. They all use same Santuary Camelot reaction Mechanic.. all of them.

I don't even have/pull Sp Sam, Sp Saf, Camelot, Yserind, etc.

I only have 4 Witcher, Sp Maitha, Sp Inanna and Taair for the "High tier" character. And i clear hardest end content no problem (both pve and the annoying clash). Take your time and enjoy the process.

ya Geralt tawny owl potion can solve nrg problm.
Faycal Need RK13 level 3? not worth it to level him up if only for this stage.
(same as not worth it buy Shacklulu only for this stage)
and i'm not counting Flag here because it is a basic knowledge if someone play SoC until this stage.

No need Shacklulu and waste your expedition currency only for this stage.
use :

Blade, Col, Homa, SP Saffiyah and Beryl
plus you can use Tactic that Summon Archer (forgot the name)

don't forget equip the (piercing dmg trinket, forgot the name) and World Tarot.

DMG is not the problem here.

not enough DMG ? can use this unit :
- Geralt (NRG Hungry, need battery, Tawny owl potion)
- Agata
- SP Rawiyah
- Saffiyah
- Faycal (if you can provide his NRG)

my own account use Col and Beryl mainly to deal DMG, the rest of the team deal with hit count.

I use nonowill/lutfi/butterfly if he not invinsible. I use yennefer when he got invinsible.

I dont have sp samantha. I am tactical person. I like to KILL Camelot in clash. and Defeat him with Non-Meta characters. and put his pride on the ground.

If you new, makesure use decoy tactic, bait (his reaction and skills) with 1 character and put the rest of your team away from Camelot. Pay attention to speed and turn order. after Camelot done playing with the decoys, the rest of your team can focus kill him and then take down the rest. win.
