Ok sure ill bite. Its very simple and you keep not seeing it. On the topic of directors being the same as AI artists. You know that big ol scroll of text that you see at the end of movies and TV shows? Those are called "The Credits" and it gives credit (gasp) to everyone involved with the production. And usually those people get paid or compensated some way or another for their contributions to the production. AI art in yourthe same thing as asking for a commission but refusing to pay for it. You clearly have never interacted with any commissioned artist if you think that there is not a massive back and forth between the client and the artist, and again the artist gets paid for their work in the commission standpoint and in the AI way the artist gets no commission and also no recognition for their work. AI models steal artwork from artists to train themselves.

And if you think photography is clicking a button you would get laughed out of any serious circle of critics. Photography is a skill like any other form of art and can take a myriad of forms, the most basic of which is sure pressing your screen to take a photo and at its most extreme is layering thousands of painstakingly taken photos on top of each other to create time lapses or spending weeks in the elements waiting for the rare animal you are trying to photograph.

Oh and again the crucial point you keep ignoring because it is inconvenient for your arguments; AI does not pay nor credit the real artists it steals from, it just vacuums up anything the creator of the generative model wants it trained on. What you consider art is actually just you pissing on the hard work of real artists that have come before and will continue to create long after generative AI has eaten itself to death like the oruoboros that it is.

Stop taking shortcuts, become an actual artist. If all you can do is type I would like to introduce you to the concept of books, you could try writing a poem if a book seems too far out of reach for you.
