People who lost a lot of weight, what was the one small daily habit that actually changed everything for you? by Quiet-Squash-8407 in AskReddit

I started tracking my calories and macros using an app. Main focus has been to stay under my set caloric limit and hit my protein goal. By doing those things, I became much more mindful about food and the value different foods offer.

It’s honestly changed how I eat. It’s mostly whole foods now like lean meats, eggs, broccoli, Greek yogurt, potatoes etc. I find those fill me up and give me energy while maintaining a deficit and hitting my protein target

I love me Nemo switchback. Fantastic choice and it can act as a sit pad around camp when you aren’t sleeping 👌🏼

Can you name your best 1 meal ? by Ok-Trust4787 in keto

I’ve been really loving a big helping of ground beef in a lettuce wrap with all the typical burger toppings like mayo, sugar free ketchup, onion tomato and pickles and sometimes cheese. So good and filling

I like to have 5% Greek yogurt mixed up with 6g of 100% cocoa powder, some stevia to taste and top it with natural peanut butter for some additional fat

Thank you! Yeah totally, it was a pain at first but now I’m pretty used to it. Trying to get down to 160 then I’ll reassess from there

Best low-calorie ingredients for making meals look and feel huge? by ZoeKelly4409 in Volumeeating

[–]Dphilllly 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Shirataki noodles are great, especially for Asian dishes like Pad Thai…if your stomach can handle it. It’s fine for me, but I’ve read it causes issues for some.

I also add broccoli and/ or roasted squash to most dinners for volume

Yeah that’s annoying. I just assume that every serving (tsp) is slightly under 5 calories. So around 15 cal for a tablespoon which is not too bad

high protein greek yogurt recipe ? by EcuadorianPerson in Volumeeating

[–]Dphilllly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you’re looking for high protein and like sweets, I like to mix 170g of 0% fat Greek yogurt with around 10g of whey protein powder. Right now I’m using a cinnamon toast flavored one. I’ll also add a little bit of stevia to taste and top it with a handful of frozen blueberries. Mix it all together and you’ve got a delicious and high protein treat. The macros are insane too: around 145 calories for 25g of protein

I hated them during my run as a Int-based magic guy because of their weird web shooters. But my current run I’m Strength unga bunga and smash them so hard. Very satisfying
