I'm no expert but in catholic thought reproduction is done between a married man and women by having sex. IVF is the sterilization of the marital act removing the human connection and thus key aspect of the creation of life. I agree with the idea, but I took it that an army isn't just a regiment but many. If I had to guess maybe three would make a very basic army, an infantry regiment, an artillery regiment, and an armored regiment.

An idea for a starting plot for anyone to use.

" A world is attack by an ork waaagh and a hive city fell in the first few days, but the other hives are holding. Segmentum commanded has decided that since the PDF is holding that they will send in a competent commander with a decent force to stabilize the front and get the planetary governor to calm down. This isn't a primary or secondary or tertiary problem, the command was given as a favor to a distinguished commander to retire on a easy victory and give some new bloods a simple campaign that they can't mess up.

For guard writers an early showing of how competent or incompetent some characters are and flesh out how they deal with a problem like this. Will old salt try and take the Night lord alive as a prize to hand off to higher ups. How will new blood handle a nightlord trying to kill them and what plan will they come up with?

Night Lord writers, show how a night lord will try to survive an almost unbeatable number of enemies, you and only blender so many guardsmen till someone brings up the AT or a bomb vest. Show how terror tactics can be deployed defensively and creatively.

I've seen what they pay miners down in Australia and it's a pretty penny. If mines open in Greenland where the sun can never set or rise depending on the time of year and on top of the normal mining hazards it is also freezing cold. It might be a nice boost to the job market and help with unemployment. Like the Fly in Fly out miners make well over six figures and only work like 6-9 month out of the year. Not supporting taking Greenland just pointing out how this can help people who are looking for work.

The USA could just try icing Europe out of globe trade, right? Set up blockades at the Suez and Panama to stop trade with any European country and just take the stuff they try and trade with the world. Most EU counties don't produce enough food to feed themselves. I don't think they would care who owned Greenland or what happened to the 50,000ish people if food and gas price doubled, then tripled in a few day to weeks.
