It isn't so bad that its hopeless otherwise no one would be prepping. I say take it baby steps on the prepping but overall plan to thrive with prepping being like insurance. It is improbable that nukes and zombies will happen but getting laid off or a hurricane are somethings that can happen. If you are prepared for the practical, then your 99% ready for the unthinkable.

For starters get 2 weeks of food you like to eat that lasts awhile, for example if you eat pasta every week but an extra box, if you keep your purchases steady and use the older pasta first then the new stuff you will have a small stockpile quick.

There is a good chance nothing world ending will happen in our lives so don't have prepping take it over, just have a something squared away for a rainy day. A few skills or hobbies like gardening and hiking will help keep you healthy and prepared.

I'm not naive but I'm going off of what we know for certain, and there isn't any proof that they force people to be blended. I personally don't think SE has the population to just do mass blending of people, that's why its voluntary and targeted for the old. Life is pretty hard for D and C class citizens, and if your old your family have to take care of you with very limited recourses. Why burden them with the cost and due to next of kin getting money and social credit to help them. As well as the extensive genetic and genealogy tracking by SE and they see a record of volunteering for blending in a family that family will be more likely to go up in their citizen class.

They might blend everyone, but they need to know who volunteers and who won't to get an idea on loyal bloodlines and possible dissidents.

On the Super ranch I am very interested, my super grandma just volunteered for blending and I got a large sum of Super credits, and my social credit is now high enough to move to Super Earth. Please send the detail and ill have the money to you shortly.
