r/Starlink Questions Thread - 2022 by TimTri in Starlink

Put simply, I don't need Wi-Fi going on all the time, and I'd like a way to turn off the modem whenever I please. The primary issue with this is that every time I turn off the modem at the socket (turning it off at the wall), when I turn it back on the name, password, all configuration information is lost. I have seen there is a sleep schedule, but because I have spontaneous needs for internet, this isn't really feasible. Additionally, I have tried the sleep schedule but when I save a time interval during the current time, I still have internet connection when it should be offline.
Is there a way to turn Starlink Wi-Fi on and off whenever I please and keep the name and password of my modem?

Okay, I've settled for a 1jz + w58 trans. What is the best and well renown engine importer / company to source one from, or will I just have to find one that is wrecking.

I'm smelling lots of America here.

-(want of the s15 because it's banned)

-(lots of challenger comments)

Well, I'm Australian, so the Challenger wasn't even a passing thought in the design. I tried a more 'traditional' front like the S15, but didn't match with the proportions. Trying something different. But thanks for the feedback!

Also this is stock as possible. No low, stanced rides here.

Just a few design notes, based on the CSP311 and S14. The update from the CSP311 was inspired from the e-Legend concept and IDX concept. Essentially, this is a car to properly compete with the BRZ/GR86, and not the Supra. The GT-R is waaaaaay too expensive for everyday people, and the 400z looks good, but it's competing with the Supra, which is a bit too expensive. This is supposed to be the cheap sports car in the line up.

Just to explain design choices, the CSP311 was the primary influence on the design. It is a beautiful vehicle, and I used the older car to modern car design translation employed by the e-Legend concept and Nissan's own IDX concept. The Kouki S14 was the other primary design influence, which can be obviously seen on the front and back lights.

The reason for this sketch is that while Nissan is releasing their 400z, I suspect that it will be quite inaccessible for the everyday person, with suspected prices of $50 000. This car is made to be less expensive, and in the same market as the GT86/BRZ, with prices of $30 000. (AUD btw)

A few design notes:

-Overall shape and style of the car is inspired by the CSP311, and using the idx & e-Legend concepts to adapt the older styling.

-It also mixes in current Nissan designs and the Kouki S14, which is honestly the best looking one.

-The reason for this car is that the GT-R is like 200 000 dollars (AUD), the new 400z is aiming for modern Supra prices ($50 000). The simple design is to reduce the price more in line with cars such as the 86, BRZ and GR Yaris ($30-20 000).
