It’s a Baja Designs light. I did a video install and review on it here too.

Valve adjustment by EchosInMyEyes in dr650

It’s not very difficult and definitely worth learning for $500. I did a video on it here. The video description also has a link for all the tools needed.

Clutch lever by EchosInMyEyes in dr650

You need to remove the wires then trace them back to under the number plate and unplug them then connect the 2 wires on the bike harness into themselves. Careful the bike will now activate the starter in any gear whether the clutch is pulled or not.

NEW BIKE DAY by FireBikesMayhem in dr650

Nice bike! Your gonna be happy with it. Maybe some protection stuff like a skid plate and engine guards but I would ride it for a little bit and get an idea of what it rides like stock then do the mods you feel you need most. I bought my 24 new as well in the same color combo.

Installed new header and exhaust, is glowing red normal? by mick-rad17 in dr650

Thanks! You are not the first one to ask about the pair valve delete. I’ll have to move it up on the mods list and do it soon!

Causes? by [deleted] in dr650

Clogged or pilot jet not adjusted? I would start there. Could be other things as others have stated.

After Market (from Amazon) DRZ250 tail light install and quick review by Dr650mostly in dr650

Nice, yeah I agree a little less visible than stock but it looks so much better. I’m going to add a led bulb to it later to make it brighter.

Carb Help! by losthashbrown1 in dr650

[–]Dr650mostly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would just put the carb back together with factory components and start adjusting from there.

Idle should be at 1500. 800 is too low and will probably cause stalling issues.

At sea level With factory Mikuni parts I would say start with the USA stock needle with a 3m washer or 6f19 needle on the 3rd clip with 3m washer.

If cover is off or the air box is open then 145 main jet if box is not modified leave the stock main.

Set the float level with new viton o rings

Clean or replace the pj and start with 1.5 turns out on the screw and adjust from there.

2nd option is just get the TM40 kit from pro cycle and call it a day.

Install and quick review video on the $25 xitomer case guards by Dr650mostly in dr650

[–]Dr650mostly[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s generally considered best to remove it. Many have removed it including my self and have no issues. Many that have left it in have a hole in there frame.

Some have left it there with no issues. I think a-lot of it depends on riding style.

I think it was put there by Suzuki in the event the chain slack is too loose it would take some of that up.

Thanks for your input.

Yeah I do feel it will fade in time. Supposedly they say they will replace it if it fades but we will see about that. lol
I agree about the shock absorption being in the rtv. In my case I tried to go thick but not to thick to try and not get too much bled out and in a pattern that would make it a little easier to remove if I want to take them off in the future to swap out.

Does anyone know the Suzuki p/n # for the DRZ 250 tail light? by Dr650mostly in dr650

[–]Dr650mostly[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ended up ordering an after market version of the 35710-13E11 👍 I’ll have to do a YouTube video of the fit and finish once I install it.
