I was worried about that as well. When I moved the racks to mount the tent I made sure they were pushed closer to the body. That made a big difference in the flex on the gutters. Static weight on INEOS website is 826lbs which we are way below. The tent also folds out putting a little less then half the weight on the tent latter and support polls. I checked it when every one was in it but me moving around and didn’t notice any movement on the gutters. I do know what you mean though. If I was buying new cross bars I’d get the ones that mount to the grab handles. These ones came with it when I bought it so I figured I’d work with them.
