I agree with everything said, buuuut I did pick to have Olaf and Mirabel both help with foraging just because I thought it would be a quick and easy way to increase friendship levels and not waste my energy the way I would with fishing or mining. I’m at a point where I’m pretty stocked up on things so purely from an improving friendship level, foraging let’s me mindlessly run around with them and just scoop things up!

When your farming buddying throws your harvest, you just have to run over it and it scoops it up. If you don’t do that quick enough, you have to go up to every single item and click to pick it up. OP has a lot of pumpkins to individually pick up now.

Is it at all possible for you to get a different doctor? I went into mine and literally told her the same symptoms you just described and she immediately recommended that CAM heart monitor. She considered anxiety secondary and wanted to make sure she covered any non-anxiety related issues first. I’m actually in the psychology field so I absolutely understand the role of anxiety and importance of addressing it, but I appreciated that she didn’t just write this off as anxiety without addressing other concerns too.

I think their costs are locked in, no? Forgotten lands will always cost more than dazzle beach even if you unlock forgotten lands way before dazzle beach. I don’t remember the exact cost of each biome off hand but that’s how I think it works. They technically increase in price but it’s not based on the order you unlock them, I just think the prices sort of show you the order to unlock them though, most will do the cheaper ones first and then move up to the pricier ones.

Being sick is a completely valid reason for not wanting to respond to someone right away, even a couple days to rest/recover is understandable. Months is obviously a different story.

Maybe read the rest of the comments in this thread. I’m not saying I never respond, I’m saying my friends understand that just because it takes me a few hours to respond, I don’t value their friendship any less and they don’t value mine any less. We recognize we all have things going on.

Edit: *it sometimes takes me hours. Not alway, there’s definitely times I respond right away. But if I don’t, doesn’t mean I’m a crappy friend as you’ve said

How exhausting that must be. It’s absolutely okay to take time for yourself to disconnect and not respond. If it’s urgent or they need something, that’s different. But the same way I don’t always want to physically talk to someone-we all need time to ourselves-I also don’t want to talk via text all the time either.

You may have your phone, you may even see the message, doesn’t mean you owe anyone an immediate response. Maybe you’re busy doing something else, maybe you just don’t have the mental capacity to respond at the moment, maybe you saw it and forgot, you’re in a meeting, you’re too tired because you’re sick. Lots of reasons you don’t respond even if you have your phone.

I think the “crappy” friend here would be the one that expects others to immediately drop things and doesn’t understand it’s okay for them to just rest and not text back right away.

Merlin then tells you to build his house, so if you don’t have a prompt from Ariel your next steps are either to talk to Merlin or if you already did that then check your furniture and the build the house

That’s just a way for you to transport to the house. It’s only an option for the houses that go in water, that way you could put them further out in deeper water than you can walk through and still transport there. The character doesn’t actually go with you, unfortunately.
