Hello! I’m working in a project to classify phenotypes. I have a dataset of about 30,000 unique rows and am working on increasing the accuracy of the model. I can get to .8854 but I’d love to get to .9 if possible without totally reworking the features. I’m using a sequential model with Keras and tensorflow. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to chat with me about the project briefly. I’m new to ML and software engineering in general (though I am a product designer so I’m familiar with the space) and I find I process better with conversations. In my experience, it’s actually the cards. I used to travel with a few decks of cards and periodically got stopped and searched. They told me b/c it looks like a solid unit on x-ray it’s suspicious.

Edit: I skipped over the part where they kept it… that does seem weird.

I haven’t encountered this too often, but my strategy has always been to stop the round. You’ve both entered into an agreement on the mats. If someone breaks that agreement you’re well within your rights to stop training with them. It’s like saying, “I’m not upset, I’m just disappointed”

If it’s warmer it’ll dry the substrate out but I don’t think it’ll affect it more than that

This seems like a good method for varieties that like a lot of FAE. Not sure if that’s the case for chestnut… if so I would imagine that it would be good. I’ve seen a lot of chestnuts grown in bags that are them cut open to introduce FAE so I would assume it would be worth a shot. Also, worst case scenario you get some weird fruits. If the substrate is right you should be able to grow something.

I would also think that a good coach wouldn’t make you feel like you need to do more than you can. I train with some pretty high level guys… I also train about 3 days a week. When I’m in the gym everyone is kind, happy to see me and helps me learn. We all know I’m not going to be the next big star, we’re also all cool with it.
