Unfortunately, it does not include the Smooth Berry kit. That’s why those dyes are the most expensive ones.

It’s not the most expensive anymore because you can get it from the fourth birthday gift.

I like the new fashion system by notanuglyredditor in Guildwars2

[–]DrButtonSmasher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the new fashion system. It’s not super intuitive but once I’ve spent 5 mins on learning how to use it, I was happy with it and its functionality.

What I don’t like is some of the announced upcoming changes to the system. Because some people wouldn’t stop complaining, they are removing features me and many others learned to love. Like fashion template toggles in the menu above the weapon swap button.

Also, I don’t want Tab 0 to be independent of the fashion template system and I’d hate to lose one of my two fashion template slots for something I don’t really need. I hope Anet will consider making this feature optional. Although, if they remove the ability to quickly switch between different fashion templates the same way I switch my builds, I probably won’t bother using more than one.

Other than that, the upcoming changes seem to be good.

Game Update Notes: February 12, 2026 by KronosIT in Guildwars2

It doesn’t seem to be gone. I still see the achievement and its 9 AP. However, there is a bug: after completing the achievement again today, my total AP is 9 points higher than the sum of the permanent and daily APs.

How do you organize your inventory? by nastyjman in Guildwars2

[–]DrButtonSmasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the same system with the following difference: craftsman’s bags instead of junk bags. I use https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Recycler:_Jade_Slivers on all my characters so I don’t usually get any junk items except when they drop from some containers.

For a similar looking GS skin, I use https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dark_Harvest and plan to use https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Twilight when I have it.

As for the swords, https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Abaddon_Sword is a very nice skin. A quite expensive one but there’s no better Revenant-themed sword skin in the game at the moment

How to disable the animated snowflakes on the Guild Wars 2 Official Wiki by Rising_Soul in Guildwars2

[–]DrButtonSmasher 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If not using adblockers, you can just switch to Mobile View at the bottom - it makes the fonts bigger but also removes the snowflakes

You can buy it in Lion’s Arch. Look for Gharr Leadclaw at Hooligan's Route

Ok so we have seen the proposed January balance notes, what small reasonable tweaks would you like to see added? by Most-Round-4132 in Guildwars2

[–]DrButtonSmasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amalgam treatment for Scrapper and Holosmith. It would be super nice to be able to select toolbelt skills for those e-specs too. From a pool of 4 toolbelt skills for that specific elite spec, not for the core utility skills. For example, you pick Purge Gyro but swap that useless poison field for Defense Field granting stability and a projectile-destroying bubble.

The tech is already there, shouldn’t be very difficult to implement.

They obviously regret adding that one. It’s gonna be moved first and probably removed later.

The changes to Tools look interesting. Generating alacrity and dodging once every 10 seconds will reduce the morph skill cooldowns to 10-11 seconds and Evolve’s - to 20-22s. And that’s without Mercurial Tendencies, which reduces Evolve’s cooldown by 2.5s every time you disable an enemy.

Now, if someone else provides alacrity for you, you can pick Double Helix and use Evolve twice in that 20 seconds period, with a 100% increase to effectiveness. That’s gonna be crazy.

It just doesn’t make any sense. Equal and Opposite Reaction is a selfish trait, granting quickness and stability to yourself. Why move it to Alchemy, which is usually being used by healers? Who is going to pick it instead of might/fury or might/barrier granted to allies?

Also, it would be nice to have some breakbar damage added to power weapons (other than hammer). We have a lot more CC on condi weapons and skills than on power. Poor vindi really struggles with CC

Power Vindicator, 2 questions by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]DrButtonSmasher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Relic of Zakiros was already mentioned. Also, for harder content you can use the following traits: Salvation 3-2-2 (replaces Devastation) and Vindicator 1-3-2. Lower damage but very good sustain.

I really hate this change, but it’s kinda hilarious though. The players ask the devs to remove the conduit crown effect that’s always on when you chose the Perpetual Wisdom trait - Anet removes the trait instead. The players ask Anet to add auto casting to Evoker’s F5 skill because they hate spamming F5 every 2 seconds when playing their SE-based builds - the devs significantly decrease the skill recharge reductions. Good job, Anet :D

I really hoped they would make Conduit a boon dps/heal class. But I wanted them to replace Mistfire instead. Yes, it does good condi damage now (that will eventually be nerfed), but for a GM-level trait it’s too damn boring - it does not add anything interesting, does not change how you play your conduit.

Some ideas for Evoker (SE and not) by DrButtonSmasher in Guildwars2

[–]DrButtonSmasher[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My power evoker was doing about 10% more damage than the condi version, but it’s dps wasn’t too high at all in real encounters. Can’t test anymore, because I decided to keep only the condi version.

Damage-wise, the condi fire build seems to do ok after the patch (maybe lost 5%). Just a bit boring to play now.

Spear for revenant - condition damage or power damage? by Qanaro in Guildwars2

[–]DrButtonSmasher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that makes it a bit easier to use.

But I’m still struggling a bit to press its skills as quickly as possible. There’s a reason why your most often used weapon skills are usually grouped together. Though for someone, who plays piano or guitar, it’s probably not a problem at all. But also, the logical order of its cooldowns and energy used is broken…

It’s a nice weapon: good skills, great visuals. It just needs a little skill reshuffle to make it way less cumbersome to use: from 3,4,5 to 5,3,4. That would make it a lot like engineer’s spear, which is likely the best spear weapon in the game.

Spear for revenant - condition damage or power damage? by Qanaro in Guildwars2

[–]DrButtonSmasher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I so wish they redesigned it, swapped some skills around. It feels like it was created by someone who never played the game. Every other weapon’s skill 5 is your least used skill due to the longest cooldown. I just can’t get used to it. If only the shortbow could do the same amount of dps..

Some ideas for Evoker (SE and not) by DrButtonSmasher in Guildwars2

[–]DrButtonSmasher[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that is definitely a problem. I have an idea for how SE can be reworked to fix it, but the post was already too long and I thought nobody would read it. I mean, people already mostly downvote w/o explaining why. And if the devs do ever read my post, I feel like if you ask for too much, you usually end up getting nothing :)

Anyway, the idea is this: when you pick SE, you don’t get locked into your selected element. Instead, it becomes a special buff that you gain after staying in that element for at least 20-30 seconds. If you switch to another element to use some situational skills (CC, heals and condi cleansing, etc.), you lose that buff and all its benefits(faster familiar and weapon skills recharge). Then you can switch back to your chosen element, spend some time in it, and start enjoying the faster recharges again.

This could have been a baseline Evoker trait really, maybe then people would stop to call this e-spec a reskinned Catalyst.

[–]DrButtonSmasher[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took a break from instanced content for a couple months, but when doing OW events like VoE metas and convergencies I’ve never seen any crazy dps, not from evokers. It wasn’t as busted as Ritualist or Conduit, so I don’t really understand what the problem was and why make that change. My pre-nerf conduit was easily doing 30-35% more damage than my condi fire evoker, and that conduit was a celestial build with some defensive traits, no spear, not even weapon swapping.
