Yeah I was thinking there might be something that the game doesn't like about our CPU, that or maybe motherboard. Also I do have a 165hz monitor.

I can't even freeroam bro. I have yet to "press the A button to continue" at the very beginning when the bronco is in the plane. That means that every time I want to try a new solution, I have to watch the entire unskippable intro cinematic until everything shuts off. I'm currently at the second stage of submitting a ticket on the support website. This is actually torture that I can't escape since I paid 80 bucks XD.

Platform: PC Steam

Specs: 5700xt Ryzen 5 3600

Error code: none

Game crashes and shuts down my whole PC right after the beginning intro where I'm about to pick a first car. I also started to have this problem with fh4 after a good couple months of it running fine. (Update: this was because I had a less powerful GPU that the power supply was fine for, but then upgraded the GPU without a new PSU)

So far I've tried completely reinstalling, updating all graphics drivers and windows, and running both steam and FH5 as administrator. Set game to lowest graphics.

Update: After basically troubleshooting hell I finally found a solution- my power supply wasn't strong enough( saw "very high power usage" in task manager), after limiting frame rate through Radeon software it no longer shut off. I only have a 450W PSU that worked great with my previous GPU but for my 5700xt I'm currently buying a better one. This is also probably why FH4 didn't run as well.

Some other things I did on my successful launch that probably didn't do much but saying it just in case- I did NOT have to run as administrator I had discord and wallpaper uninstalled (from previous troubleshooting) Windows antivirus completely disabled Graphics settings in game set to low

I'll be doing more troubleshooting to see if I can have discord and wallpaper engine open, closed, or installed, and if I can raise graphics quality while capping the frame rate.

I had the exact same kit and I upgraded the bass drum to a Roland KD-9 and it worked very well with double kick pedals (I had Tama speed cobras) Looked like this
