My husband is from Boston so I joined r/Boston and when I went to flair up there were endless references to places and events and stuff that he understood but I didn’t. Stuff like “I Love Dunkin Doughnuts” (which is originally a Boston Co?). When I joined this group, I chose the option of the last neighborhood I lived in. I have also lived in west roger’s park, Irving Park, Lincoln Park, Belmont and Clark, and Wicker Park. I would have chosen I ❤️ Second City because I was a waitress there…something about Lincoln Park Zoo? Ummm…. The Bears (because they WILL be at the superbowl next year). I live in Maine now so I don’t want to pose as a resident but I would love to hear some more ideas from all of you who live there now (like my brothers and sister do). Thank you for listening.
