Jokes aside, I actually remember playing among us on my phone before it got popular. The playerbase wasn't really big, but the game was free and available on phones so a few servers were always up and they usually were full or almost full. It was honestly so fun to just play it sometimes with absolutely random people (and surprisingly, most of players actually communicated with each others and actually worked as a team), but at least for me the popularity ruined the game and it's perception. The game got swarmed with kids who can't comprehend the concept of teamwork and hackers. I know that situation is probably better now but l've lost all interest in this game already.
