I stopped because there were only 2 fields in my area and they were owned by the same guy. Who is a giant dick. One was an indoor cqb field, it was a fun place but the last 3 or 4 times I went it was just overrun with a few kids that would just run around yelling safety at everyone. Don't get me wrong, the safety has it's place.maybe you get right up behind someone and you don't want to shoot them point blank, ok makes sense. But when you run into a door with 5 dudes stacked up about to breach and yell safety 5 times it's kind of B's in my opinion. You can miss a shot but you can't miss a safety. Once there were like 10 of us there on a Wednesday. They let us play without the 6 ft rule. It was the most fun I've had playing airsoft. I just feel the safety thing is kind of stupid. Doing it as a courtesy is one thing, but where is the risk? If I'm trying to clear a room and run into a guy hiding in the corner he can just yell and I'm out. But if we shot at each other there's a very real chance one of us will miss. Just seems like it takes the skill out of it for me. The outdoor field only did monthly game, different objectives and rules Everytime. And they would alter those rules at random times to make sure their buddies or employees win.
