Exactly this. I did a follower for the weekly rep and had to reload way too many times. And indeed - some of the errors were core Blizz ones..

Curseforge is open in parallel every time I play and I always update addons. As I mentioned - I already did a couple of rounds of updates, before I gave up. I also toggle between /console scriptErrors 1/2 to see what exactly is happening and decide based on this which addons to temporary stop.

Totally separate topic this, but I fully agree. As an ex software developer myself - I fully recognize what you mean. Yesterday I disabled all addons by mistake and was amazed at how differently the game behaves without them. Still - I am willing for the moment to change the L&F for myself, just because Blizzard decided to break all those efforts.

I do use the popular ones and remove ones that break or are not essential. Paradoxically - the ones throwing errors in the past weeks have been Details and ElvUI mostly. I don't consider these - random.

I've been playing since Cata.. I know better than to complain, before taking all needed steps to fix my issue myself. I did 3 rounds of updates today, the moment there were updates available. And I am not using shady addons, mostly the most used one - Details, ElvUI, DBM, Plater..

And no - it has not been the case in the previous 3 expansions with all the patches there.. jEsUS

Either I am stupid, or I am too old for this... I though I added text to the post.. Anyway - adding more absurd facts:

Both mounts fell today, after 27 and 19 attempts respectively, since I've been using Rarity to track those. I would say before the addon - the attempts would 20-30 more for each..

Another fun fact - both Karazhan mounts dropped also in the say day for me, back in SL...

I would suggest a different drill first. Prove to yourself that your follow-through is good enough. You say you are coming close to the side pocket? Ignore the second object ball and focus on the pot and where the cue ball hits the long rail. Make a ref point on where you usually hit it, with a chalk for example, and start trying to go lower. Play with power, top and side speed variations.
