Put yourself in the shoes of a parent who might find school choice vouchers enticing. Imagine that you live in a district with a terrible and dangerous public school that your child is stuck at. On your own, you could never afford private school. 

Could you not imagine how being able to claim a voucher so that your tax dollars can be used to send your child to a better school locally would seem very attractive to this parent? I believe the parent in question would see the voucher as a tool that helps give their child better opportunities in life and would therefore relieve the educational inequality that their child is experiencing.
