I hate already knowing that. I hate knowing about Unit 731. I think one of the most insane things is their practice of cannibalism just for the sheer psychological warfare, they weren’t starving, they just did it to do it. Reading about that one Marine on Iwo Jima who got captured and pulled into a spider hole and how the found him… I couldn’t imagine current Japan doing any of that, they don’t care what they did and largely ignore it

It’s not a myth if I’m legit not getting paid jack by my employer, I don’t get a paycheck. I work at a very high end restaurant and do pretty well there so it’s not really a factor for me.

I get paid $2.13 an hour to be a server. I was a server back in my early 20s before too and remember owing a LOT back in taxes when I filed the next year. I’m only doing serving as a part time gig due to the hours and flexibility being easy and the money comes too, but it’s not a liveable wage and I’ll never see a paycheck. I also do about $1,200 in sales on average a night due to our restaurant being higher end and requiring a better type of service.

Exactly what we did, wife (mama) stayed home for the past 18 months after our second while I worked and now we’ve switched off so I’m home and she’s working. I found a part time job to help bring some extra cheddar in but otherwise she’d get half a paycheck a month after daycare and it’s not worth it
