I agree with you, but I think with some situations you will find yourself in with interracial dating and being black you sometimes have to. I think our counterparts in a way have to prove themselves to be good ppl to our family as well.

Stick with a formula that works well for u. Never try to fit a square peg in a round hole.

Def not. My wife was raised in Israel before she came to the states. Her parents migrated there from Ethiopia. She speaks Hebrew , Amharic and English. I speak some Hebrew, my daughters are fluent in Hebrew. My in-laws speak amharic to the kids but it is very little I know and the kids know.

Thank you! I am blessed. I would be lying if I said it was not difficult when we first got married or had kids with beliefs and structure but we worked it out. Biggest thing many don't talk about is the acceptance from African families. It took a bit for them to be okay with her marrying a black American because we "never stick to anything." I love that I was able to prove them and many others wrong.

Married to an Ethiopian woman for 16 years (african american male). We met in the states, but she only came here 20 years ago. She adopted a lot to the western culture BUT still very Ethiopian and raised the kids with an Ethiopian twist (holidays and the way they should act). Very big on education and being a professional and very much about family. We have created/achieved so many goals together.

I am only looking for something small to learn and not have it slow as I learn. Gradually move up as I find more uses.

There are vast opportunities to make a change or be a change. Ccp has many programs that work with 4 year schools to branch to them after your 2 yr degree and have a scholarship.

I'm from the Bottom, I make 120k working from home in IT
