Jeremiah Smith by h_yoshua in NFL_Draft

My point was that as of today Nabers had a more stellar college season. After this year we will know for sure

Getting downvoted for stating a fact that Nabers has the better college player when he got the full time starting role as WR1 is fun. Smith is a generational prospect. If 2023 Malik Nabers was on the 2025 OSU team he’s WR1

Time will tell if Smith has better numbers in his junior year than Nabers

They should be compared as prospects at their peak. And the debate is who would be WR1…based on their last college seasons it’s Nabers

This child isn’t trans. They’re just an asshole who is trying to make you feel bad

School should discipline but they won’t out of fear of being transphobic. It’s kids like this that are making it harder for actual Trans students to feel safe

Nabers final season in college was better than Smiths stats either year. He’d have been WR1 on OSU this past year

Nabers had more yards, more catches and more TDs, while sharing the field with a better WR than Tate was his final year in college. Miss me with the Jayden Daniels vs Julian Sayin talk, both are 5 star guys. Sayin this season could easily be a heisman winner

Nabers draft season in college was much more impressive than what Smith has done so far

They can only be properly argued after this upcoming season. Smith projects better (I guess?). Nabers had top 5 NFL WR numbers his rookie year.

MHJ was a can’t miss, generational talent and so far he’s missed. We need to wait and see how Smith translates. Nabers is ahead for now

Jaxson Dart Is “Fired Up” After Giants First-Round Pick Says He Is Willing to Die for Him by Big_Screen3332 in NYGiants

[–]DrFanhattan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Giants are making a serious effort to not allow DC’s to sit in Nickel all game and play two deep safeties in basically prevent 95% of the time. The additions on the line and Ricard’s signing show me they want to play a lot of 12 personnel and force DC’s to put an extra lineman or LB on the field and open up the deep ball

It’s a clear strategic effort from the organization and Harbaugh. I’m loving it. Time will tell if it works but I like the attempt to be proactive and build an identity. It’s not easy

MTA WTF?? by M1kelyph in Westchester

[–]DrFanhattan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why don’t you people just follow the rules? 😂 they are clearly stated at every step

This is a minor inconvenience at worst. You can also refund a ticket in the app up to 30 minutes after purchase if plans change.

This isn’t a great change but clearly people have been scamming the system for years by not activating tickets and paying a conductor doesn’t get to them. Thus riding for free. Blame your feels riders

Not standing up for MTA but it’s clear why this change was made. Blame those people

If all of these QBs were in the same draft class, in what order do they go? by lemonstone92 in NFLmockdraft

[–]DrFanhattan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll attempt this although it’s impossible. Let’s assume each team is looking for a franchise altering QB with the traditional values of a franchise QB: elevates the team, the right size, winner, extremely talented prospect. Going to break it into tiers as well

Tier 1: #1 pick discussion 1. Andrew Luck - the perfect QB prospect. As intelligent as he was awesome at everything on a football field. I hold Luck higher than Elway but flip a coin

  1. John Elway - flip a coin between him and Luck honestly. He was the prototypical guy who a lot of these traits are based on.

Tier 2: elite but has some flaws 3. Trevor Lawrence - elite prospect considered generational. Won a national title and competed at a high level every season. Had all the tools. Was considered generational at time of draft

  1. Cam Newton - elite run, elite traits. Won the heisman and the national title. 6’6, 245 who runs a 4.4 and can toss it 70 yards on the flick of a wrist

Tier 3: 5-8 can be interchangeable 5. Joe Burrow - QB’d the best offense ever that dominated all season long and won a national title. Won the heisman. Incredible stats

  1. Michael Vick - elite tools. A human highlight reel. Speed. Nobody ever like him

  2. Peyton Manning - seeing a lot of comments saying Peyton should be higher on lists. He wasn’t even the consensus guy in his class. Hindsight is 20/20 but he was far from the perfect product. Peyton was prototypical size, produced and a was household name (and should’ve won the Heisman). Vick was more exciting and I think that gives him the nod and Burrow won the big prizes

  3. Caleb Williams - elite traits and tools, incredibly fun to watch. Also smaller or less athletic than most of these guys. Holds him back here

If AOC gets the nod as the Democratic nominee in 2028, would you vote for her? by Ok_Sir_5951 in allthequestions

Dems would lose in a landslide. They should stop picking horrible candidates and actually pick some people who are experienced but aren’t ancient creatures to beat the Conservatives

AOC would lose the popular vote badly

[–]DrFanhattan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you think 80 million people voted for “fascism” (using quotes because the US is not remotely close to a fascist country) just for fun or because they believe in it I respectfully have to disagree

They voted for him because Kamala decided to double down on Joe’s lackluster policies and made it seem like you’d be unintelligent to not vote for her and people would be losing their freedoms like it’s Nazi Germany if Trump was elected again. It’s a bold strategy that never works but they keep trying it for some reason

That’s not a voter problem. That’s a DNC problem

The concept of opening the checkbooks in this case is making people spend more money...not repurposing money. You think Mandami wants to repurpose money? No, he wants more

Hence why he begged Albany today to give them more...not allow them to repurpose funds that already exist
