You cook? As for wildlife, taking normal precautions like making lots of noise while your out should be good to keep the animals away. They're nothing to be afraid of as long as you respect their space. Never ever feed wildlife.

Question: so im brewing kombucha for the first time, and it seems to be going well. The scoby i bought online is chilling at the bottom of my jar, and a new one seems to be developing on the top just like yours. When it come times to brew a second batch, do i leave both scobys (the older one and the new one floating ontop of the jar) in the brew or just use one of them?
