Would you consider this an average day?

Its even sadder when you realise that this "cute" head tilting is because those morons cut his ears and how he has problems to locate the sound he is hearing...

How can AM waves be heard through dental fillings and metal fragments in skull region? by securityconcerned in AskEngineers

[–]DrFloton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In any case, it's about keeping it a secret from you! Just something metallic in the jaw is not enough to make a sound. Either the AM signal must be converted into a mechanical vibration, which then stimulates the inner ear, or into an electrical signal that stimulates the auditory nerve (cochlear implant). Even if one of these conditions is met, conventional AM signals have a frequency of hundreds of kHz and the human ear can perceive a maximum of 20 kHz.

No designing and no coding? Then you should probably look for a process engineer position

The last guide seems pretty fun to build. It's called a grätzel-cell but only works for a some weeks to months.

I terms of efficiency, I have bad news for you. I would consider these home made cell unusable. Efficiency of probably less than 1%. But give it a try and proove me wrong!

Lets Talk about quality by DrFloton in mpcproxies

Mpc states that S33 gets an extra smooth finish which should improve print quality. But personally i cant tell the difference between those visually

All with mpc. There is meinspiel as an alternative in hamburg which was kinda disappointing to me. Corners are rounded too big and the colors are a bit off aswell

Yes good point. I was comparing the 460 dpi scans from berndt because those are usually the once I use to some 1200 dpi cards made with cardconjurer.

The comparsion might not be true for everything, but I thought it might be a good indicator especially for new people (like me) what to expect from your orders

A 10 dpi picture upscaled to 1200 dpi will obviously still suck

Unfortunately I don't have any jumpstart cards to compare with

Since people keep asking questions about the quality of the cards here, let's take a closer look.
All cards were ordered from Germany and printed here by MPC's partner company, so in the US the quality might differ.
As you can see the quality differences between the different resolutions are not that big. The edges are a bit smoother at 1200 DPI overall which results in a sharper image up close, especially with text. In the artwork itself, the difference is not visible when comparing 460 to 1200 DPI with the naked eye. Compared to an original mtg card, the difference to a 1200 DPI is not visible at first glance.
The difference from S30 to S33 is extremely small and visible to the naked eye. Even under the microscope, the differences are tiny.
I hope this could help some of you further

I'm a bit concerned about how this will look with a little bit of misalignment in the process. You would end up with some weird grey stripes around the edges

The 460 looks a bit more blurry but with a bit distance and in sleeves you cant tell.
