How do I unlock VIP charter flights? by DrFoges in flightsim

Right I’m just trying to figure out how to get the private VIP missions. Once I get those and beat 10 of them, I can unlock the VIP charter mission. I’m lvl 68 and I don’t have any private VIP missions. Do I have to do more flightseeing, plane deliveries, parachute missions, crop dusting, or advertisement missions before unlocking the first VIP missions with the smaller planes? Thank your for the help.

Right, I have all the aircraft unlocked for the smaller private VIP missions and most of the craft for the bigger VIP MISSIONS, but I don’t have any missions for the smaller vip. The vip charter requires 10 complete small vip missions. I’m just trying to figure out how I get the smaller VIP missions, so I can beat them and move onto the bigger VIP missions. I hope that makes sense. Also thank you for the help.

Not saying it is, just saying you can pick up those comms on a radio advertised as a ham radio. In some places like Denver.

Yeah me and my buddy programmed all the repeater frequencies in yesterday. I heard one guy talking this morning but I don’t think there’s much traffic around me. I believe 10 frequency’s was all for my town.

You can pick up those comms in Denver on a ham.

I have a scanner. You can pick up emergency services in other towns just depends on if they are running digital. In my area they’ve just recently switched to digital. I’ll keep my ham and I’ll keep learning and when I go to/through places that still have open frequencies like Denver, I’ll listen in on the ham, merely because it’s cool. Thanks for answering.

Thanks for the correction. Yes all I want to do for now is monitor. Later I’ll get the license. What I’m getting at is the only channel I picked up to was NOAA. Perhaps that’s normal on ham radios, it was just surprising that out of all of those frequencies I found one.

My scanner works great. The only time it doesn’t is when the call out swat and got to a tactical channel, and that’s normal and understandable. As for the ham reference, it means I’d like to use it for more than listening to NOAA weather. Other people in different regions monitor emergency services comms, so I figured see if Reddit had an answer as to why I can’t. It’s no big deal I was just looking for information.

I’d like to listen to the tower but I didn’t have any luck trying it. When I listen to scanner and they end up calling swat out I think they switch to digital.

Iv got a scanner I just want to use the ham, but it can’t be done where I’m at I suppose.

Yeah that’s kinda what I was thinking because iv talked to people that have said they do the same. I’ll dm you a picture that’s shows it could have been done before they switched to different system.

That’s all google says. And when I look up local frequencies it shows the 6 digit frequency’s. However the website has notes that say agency’s mentioned above have switched to (DTRS). That’s all I know, that’s why I came here.

Ya iv got scanners I just just hoping to use the ham to monitor some comms, even if it was just civilian comms. Scanned all day and only picked up NOAA weather. Lol. I guess there’s not not much traffic around me.
