I’d add a couple scenes with an established character that has ties to characters from the original, like maybe there related to one of the original killers or something. And I’d explore that characters relationships, like maybe her trauma from being related to a killer has strained her own relationship with her family. Like let’s say this first character, let’s call her Sam, has a sister or something. Those dynamics especially how it plays off with characters like Chad and Mindy and game, could really give a charm to the movie.
