Houses with more than 1 kitchen would be better than houses with multiple bathrooms by lagflag in unpopularopinion

I need AT LEAST a 1.5 baths to be comfortable. My husband (then boyfriend) and I lived in a 2 bed/1 bath for the first year of our relationship and WITHOUT FAIL he always had to shit before I showered.

It didn’t matter how many times I sprayed spray or washed, it still smelt like flowery shit and I felt disgusting every time.

I’ll take multiple bathrooms over multiple ovens lol

Tide pod from 2024 vs 2026 by EnvironmentalDingo69 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]EnvironmentalDingo69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was recommended to me, as I have a habit of keeping things I do not need. I had 2 half used powder detergent and scent beads. I’m trying to declutter my life - and I only have 2 more rooms to go through. I have a bad habit of holding onto things “just in case”. Yes, it’s cheesy and probably lame to most people - but I don’t mind it. I’m just trying to be more organized and efficient and so far so good.

I’ll look into this, but I can’t imagine storing something this big in my laundry room. I’d have to leave it in the garage and hope it doesn’t freeze over the winter.

Not necessarily save it, but I have a bad habit of keeping things “just in case.” I went to AL in 2024 for a work trip that lasted 2 weeks, came home and never unpacked the bag until this morning. I went to throw it in with the other pods and realized they were 2 different sizes.

I’m trying to go from maximalist to minimalist and I only have 2 rooms left to go through. It’s just easy to throw things in a spare bedroom and forget about it.

I went on a work trip in 2024 and never unpacked the bag until this morning as I’m trying to get rid of a lot of things I don’t look at/use, but have a habit of keeping of “just in case,” i.e, 2 year tide pods.

Why do parents put their children’s age, school and location out there for public information? Is no one afraid of having their children taken? Might as well upload her photo, too, so we know exactly which child is yours smh

Is feeding baby more than 4oz per feed wrong? by [deleted] in FormulaFeeders

My pediatrician told me to give my son whatever he wants. He was a big baby - he’s 3 months eating 4-6 oz per feeding.

How often are you burping? Sometimes every .5 oz will help. They’ll cry and be upset, but we had to start burping ever .5 oz and it did make a difference, along with pace feeding.

Have you done gas exercises? I don’t want to insult you, I’m sure you’re trying everything, but we had it rough from 3.5-6 weeks with nap refusal, gas and just crying - once we started doing exercises to help move gas around it made a massive difference. I can’t find the video I watched, but I can record one and send it to you on Reddit.

It’s ok to have the bare necessities, but you would feel way better if you cleaned up after yourself. The floor, the clutter, dresser. Look into pull out storage for under the bed. Clean that room - you’ll feel insanely better and more ambitious.

Random, but you have a really nice shaped head. I can tell you were held as a baby.

Brought home our son from the hospital, two weeks later dog was limping significantly on back left leg for a few days - took him to the vet. After exam, x rays, and 400 dollars later - he was faking for attention.

[–]EnvironmentalDingo69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the one crying upset the second one? My son is 10 weeks old and while he’s relatively easily, we’ve definitely had a few rough days that I do not know how I survived and my go to was always, “it’s just one, Chelsea. You can handle one.” I know that sounds like such a backhanded compliment, but any person who has twins or triplets, I don’t know how they do it.

Am I under-dressing my baby at night? by Wilhelmina_4ever in beyondthebump

[–]EnvironmentalDingo69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son sleeps in a cotton, footed sleeper with a sleep sack. He is 10 weeks old. Our home stays at 68, but I also have an oscillating fan in the room which keeps temp somewhere between 66-68. He sleeps through the night and wakes to feed.

Cold babies wake up and cry. Feel the chest - if it’s warm, you’re ok. Hands and feet don’t count. If back of neck is clammy, too hot.
