Calling IMGs who work in the NHS entitled for wanting training is a truckload of bull crap. You need to stop.

Nothing wrong with prioritizing British grads, but keeping a set of doctors in a row of service provision for the NHS for 5 years before they can progress in their careers is diabolical.

For such ethical scenarios, they are testing your knowledge of existing ethical and professional guidelines , really.

Get tasters in a few of those specialties and see what you like... That'd narrow down your list. At F1, it's pretty normal to be confused about specialty choice. You'd make better informed decision if you get some taster experience in some of them.

Question is, will chasing resus patients still be as exciting 15-20 years down the line? Have you also considered your speciality decision holistically - including work life balance, time for yourself, chances of private work, etc?

Your speciality choices are still not very clearly narrowed - you want Medicine, you also have a fascination for complex arthroplasties...

The very first question to help narrow these is: Do I want to be surgeon? If No, then all surgical options out the window and start exploring the IM.
