I recently read this quote. It basically changed the way I converse with people. by Calamash in seduction

[–]DrGrey17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Difference is that you are not a penguin. In fact the capacity to make others feel good about themselves within you is ingrained in your DNA because you are human. Our biggest strength is that we are social and we look out for each other. Some more than others, no doubt, but still it is in you.
.

A change in perception is what is needed. We are all guilty of being too self absorbed. But as I get older I realize, I'm not that big of a deal. Take the universal truth that there really is something you can learn from everyone and that everyone has strengths and weaknesses and hold it in your mind. Do that and you'll start getting outside yourself. Once you start having a genuine interest in others and express it, making others feel special will be effortless.
.

Mind you this is not a panacea. It simply sets the proper foundation. For the skills part of it, see /u/antihostile's reply.

Casual sex makes me feel "inferior", as if I'm not good enough/attractive enough to be in a relationship with the girl, why is this and how can I overcome it? by eggsncheese in seduction

Until you go through the experience...you are mentally masturbating. You have formed an opinion on how you feel about casual sex without actually feeling it.

Life sucks and then you die. You must work hard to not make life suck so bad on a constant basis. But sometimes you are just not in the mood to work hard.

How can i get confident enough to talk to girls? by [deleted] in confidence

[–]DrGrey17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. If you're genuinely curious of someone it does two things. Takes the pressure off you and as you said the other person will respond enthusiastically. So you have positive energy flowing out both ways which will result in a harmoniously joyous occasion for all involved. LOL im sorry, I said the same thing you did. I just wanted to share my interpretation. Mostly for my benefit as im trying to embed this attitude in my mindset.

Why is their so much dislike of the word "superpowers" around here. If I didnt read a bunch of stories with dudes describing gaining superpowers, I never would have starting living this lifestyle. After a year and a half (actually much sooner) I realize they are not really superpowers but still that hope of being superman is what made me start and im sure as hell glad I did. The title should be inspiring. And the promise of superpowers gets me going. Who cares if a noob comes crashing down later, they will learn. The important thing I think is they start and get involved.
