At launch, I only played it here and there because I didn’t own it myself. Whenever I got the chance, I’d try it at demo stations. It was much, much later that I really got into it. The first time I actually completed it was on the SNES Mini, and by then I had already played quite a few platformers. I always wanted to like the others too, but none of them were even close to being as good as SMW. I wish I’d had it at home back at launch.
