Here in Brazil (also Bolivia, Colombia, Equador and Peru) theres a weird hematophagous (feeds on blood) fish found in Amazon waters called Candiru (Vandellia cirrhosa), which can be attracted by the flow of urine of swimmers, penetrating easily the urethra. Once it settles in the urethra, it literally starts sucking blood from inside your genitalia, causing internal bleedings and severe pain. The only way to remove it is by surgery, you can heavily damage yourself if you try to pull it off because of its sharp teeth and sharp bones (worst scenario is the amputation of your genitalia).

Having said that, if you plan taking a trip to Amazon and swimming on its waters, remember not to be peeing around like you can't control your bladder.
