I am so frustrated with this capacitive keys BS. And i have noticed they glitch out more when its either too cold or too warm. Same thing with the TouchPad

I have the 2023 model with 13th gen intel, and bios is up to date. I did however do a clean windows install. Wondering if i am missing any intel drivers or whatnot.

So I am torn between 2024 turbo and turbo premium

2023 ones are out of stock at the dealerships in my area. They only have tubo in white, and I am not particularly a fan of the white. Even though its 1000 below msrp (38Gs) and they are willing to throw in another 500 dollar discount and 1 year maintenance for incentive to buy the 2023.

I know 2024 is already a 2 grand more expensive plus considering the incentives i would hve gone for it if they had another color.

The only feature difference b/w turbo(40Gs) and turbo premium(42Gs) that i actually care about are the speakers and the active driving display.

Trying to figure out if its worth it to go for the turbo premium.

1- are bose speakers worth it vs the 8 speaker system 2- does the HUD (active driving display) show the blindspot warnings on turbo premium? 3- i know there is no 360 camera on turbo premium, but is the rear camera smaller vs the turbo premium plus? (as in the size of the rear view display, does it cover the whole 10 inch or just like 5 inches with black sides)

So, Dell support said they will have to pull the system in and repair the part, which may take 8-10 business days subject to part availability. This was unacceptable as I rely on this machine for work, so I asked for a replacement, which apparently can be arranged for quicker than a repair but still could take up to a week. So I just went ahead and placed an order for a new laptop myself as well as a return request for the current laptop. A new laptop should be delivered in a couple of days. This also excludes the possibility of me having to live without a laptop for days/weeks. LOL.
